As they take on the Northern Superchargers Women in the 7th game of The Hundred Women’s Competition, the side would be under pressure to perform at home. The Superchargers Women come into this game after a big win against Welsh Fire Women and they would be confident. 

Northern Superchargers’ batter Jemimah Rodrigues played a brilliant knock in the last game, and she is looking in terrific form. Natalie Sciver’s side went down in the last game against Southern Brave Women by 23 runs. It was a horrible show from their batters who failed to chase down a small total in the game. Sciver shall look to keep that loss behind and get the first points of the season with a win playing at home. 

Rachel Priest and Sammy-Jo-Johnson went out cheaply in the last game and the side would be expecting a better start from them here. In the middle order Katherine Brunt and Natalie Sciver did well in the last game and they would have to hold the innings together. The side would also like to see better efforts with the bat from Heather Graham and Abbey Freeborn down the order. 

Their bowlers did a good job in the last game with Sammy-Jo-Johnson and Katherine Brunt bowling tight spells with the new ball. They would have to come up with similar efforts here. Kathryn Bryce, Sciver and Sarah Glenn will have to bowl well as their opponents do have a very strong batting line-up.

Lauren Winfield Hill’s side has made a good start to the tournament. It was an all-round effort from the girls that saw them to a 6-wicket win over the Welsh Fire in the last game. Hill would look to maintain the same momentum as they play this game. Their opponents have a strong side and Hill would like to see good show from her players here. 

Jemimah Rodrigues destroyed the bowling in the last game and similar show would be expected from her. Hill who went out without scoring shall look to do well. In the middle order they have good strength with Laura Wolvaardt, Hollie Armitage and Bess Heath and runs would be needed from these girls. Alice Davidson Richards and Laura Kimmince need to come up with a brilliant show in this game. 

Linsey Smith bowled well with the new ball in the last game grabbing 3 wickets, and she would be expected to provide her side with a good start in the game. Phoebe Graham was expensive and needs to do well here. The side would also like to see good spells from Richards, Elizabeth Russell and Katie Levick in this game as the trio had bowled well in the previous one.
