Muhammad Waseem played a match-winning knock in the last game, and he will look to offer a positive start along with Vriitya Aravind. Chundangapoyil Rizwan is a good player at No. 3, and he must add runs with Basil Hameed and Rohan Mustafa in the middle order. Aayan Afzal Khan and Zawar Farid can hit the ball, and they need to use the long handle in the death overs.  

It was a good bowling performance from the hosts in the last game. Junaid Siddique and Akif Raja bowled well with the new ball and will look to do the same in this game. Rashid Khan would be sad at the scale of the defeat in the last game. The famed Afghan bowling attack failed to deliver in the last game. The batting line-up hasn’t been at its best in the two games. Rashid, who has lots of experience, shall look to recover from the loss and guide his side to a series win.  

Openers Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Hazratullah Zazai aren’t in the best form and must deliver a strong performance in this game. The side will need runs in the middle order from Afsar Zazai, Ibrahim Zadran, and Najibullah Zadran. They bat deep with Karim Janat, Rashid Khan, and  Azmatullah Omarzai to follow.

There will be clear skies over Abu Dhabi with some dew late evening. The track has been a good one to bat on, and we have already seen big scores being made here. There isn’t much for the bowlers on this surface. The side that bats first will need a score above 180 runs to feel comfortable here.

Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi, is a big venue but the batting-friendly wicket and the fast outfield has offered batsmen plenty of opportunities to score runs here. Fast bowlers have had a tough time here and have gone for runs. The slowness on the surface has aided the spinners, who have been able to surprise the batsmen occasionally and grab wickets.
