Herculean task for Vinohrady Biancos against Prague Spartans Vanguards!
Prague Spartans Vanguards to win!
It is game No. 12 and the last for the day in the Czech Republic T10 Super Series, 2020. The Vinohrady Rossos would be up against the Prague Spartans Vanguards. It will be the second game for both sides in the day they would have gained good knowledge about the conditions and will be looking to use this to their advantage.
The Prague Spartans Vanguards are one of the strongest sides going into the tournament and have a very strong batting line-up and a good bowling unit at their disposal. The Rossos, on the other hand, have a team that hasn’t played much cricket in the past and will have to marshal their resources well. T10 formats can be interesting and the Rossos will be looking to win key moments in the game and challenge their opponents.
A very young team, Kyle Gilham and his men would face a stiff challenge as they take on a stronger opponent in this game. They don’t have the big stars like their opponents and the skipper would expect his young players to rise up to the challenge during the game and offer stiff competition.
As far as their batting goes the side would rely on the top 3 of Gilham, Shaun Dalton, and Arshad Yousafzai. They are known to be big hitters of the ball and shall look to put up the runs in the early overs. There isn’t much strength lower down the order but the side will expect to see good knocks from Thomas Sturmey and Ed Knowles.
There is relative weakness on their bowling front and Paul Taylor is the only bowler who has experience with club cricket. Others in the team will need to bowl extremely tight lines for the side to give a tough fight to their opponents. Dalton and Yousafzai need to make good use of their skills for the side to win in this game.

Prasanna Ganesan would be very confident leading his side into this game. The side is blessed to have good batsmen, bowlers, and a mix of all-rounders. Having already tasted the conditions on the surface the team would be looking to put up a strong show in this game and solidify its position in the group.
As far as batting goes they have a very strong opening combination in Prasanna Ganesan and Satyajit Sengupta. The pair would be looking to score quick runs in the game. Down the order, they have good strength in Karthik Ekambaram, Ghanshyam Kumar and Farooq Abdullah-Shaik. These three are known to be good hitters of the ball.
With Neeraj Tyagi in the side, their bowling looks very good as he has been one of the rising stars in the domestic circuit. The captain will look at Vineet Mahajan, Vysakh Jagannivasan, and Suhaib Wani to provide him good support during the game.

The weatherman predicts cloudy skies over Velvary on June 20 and there are chances of rain during the game. The heavy conditions would pose a big challenge for the batsmen with the pitch also being a challenging one to bat on. The side that bats first on this surface would be eying a total in excess of 90 runs to feel comfortable.
The small size of the Velvary Cricket Ground makes it easy for the batsmen to free their arms but the pitch has always been known to offer good bounce and carry for the fast bowlers which balance the game well. Spinners have always struggled on this surface as there isn’t much turn on offer.
Most of the games in this tournament have so far been won by sides that have chased the scores. This is understandable given the composition of the sides with amateur players. With conditions likely to favor bowlers the side winning the toss shouldn’t have much hesitation in bowling first.
Vinohrady Rossos will have to put their best foot forward in this game. They are up against a team that is blessed to have some of the best players in this tournament and it will require an exceptionally good performance from them to win this game. The Vanguards on the other hand will have to avoid being complacent and make the best out of their skills. With the line-up they have for this contest, they will start as favorites.
