Tournament: Momentum One Day Cup | Format: One Day Cricket | Venue: St George's Park, Port Elizabeth | Toss: To Bowl
Bet NowThe 25th game of 2019 Momentum Cup at St George's Park, Port Elizabeth will be an interesting one. The Warriors and Dolphins meet for their second clash of the season and both have struggled in the recent games. The two sides go into this game with having lost their last three games which is worrying given the stage of the tournament as we are nearing the semi-final of the season.
In the earlier game between the two sides Warriors had defeated the Dolphins by 8 wickets. It will be interesting to see if the Dolphins are able to even that out in the next game as both the sides would be desperate for a victory in the upcoming game.
JJ Smuts would be terribly upset with his side’s form in the last few games. Their last loss against the Titans was due to bad batting display by the side. With the semi-finals nearing the skipper would hope his men regain form and win the upcoming game.
There seems to be some confidence issue with the batting at the moment. Edward Michael Moore and JJ Smutts who replaced regular openers in the last game weren't able to change the fortunes of the side Yaseen Vallie, Sinethemba Qeshile and Lesiba Ngoepe also failed in the middle. The only shining light was Marco Marais who took his side to a respectable total. The batting line-up as a whole needs to fire in the next game
Lutho Sipamla and JJ Smuts bowled well in the last game as he has been doing so throughout the season. Andrew Birch has also done well in the season and these three make it a good bowling line-up. They would be expecting better performances from Sisanda Magala and Thomas Kaber in the next game.

It was a poor display of batting by Khaya Zondo’s side in the last game against the Knights that led to their loss. Having lost the last three games they are desperate for a win as they go onto taking the Warriors in the next game.
Opener Vaughn van Jaarsveld had a poor outing in the last game but Sarel Erwee played well. They have given good starts to the side in the season. Khaya Zondo also did well but the rest of the batsmen including Dane Vilas, Sibonelo Makhanya and Senuran Muthusamy failed in the last game. These players have done well at the start of the season and this makes the batting line-up formidable if they deliver the goods.
The bowling attack also had a bad day in the last game. Eathan Bosch and Keshav Maharaj were the only bowlers who checked the flow of runs. With Senuran Muthusamy and Kerwin Mungroo in the line-up the skipper would be pinning hopes on his bowlers to turn it around in the next game.
Vaughn van Jaarsveld, Sarel Erwee, Dane Vilas (wk), Khaya Zondo (c), Senuran Muthusamy, Sibonelo Makhanya, Keshav Maharaj, Eathan Bosch, Prenelan Subrayen, Kerwin Mungroo, Okuhle Cele.

It is expected to be a sunny day in Port Elizabeth on the 20th of March with slight cloud cover. There have been spells of rain over the last few weeks and this would mean that the pitch would be slightly damp and on the slower side. The ball is expected to stop on the batsmen and score of 270-280 runs would be a fighting total on this ground.
St George's Park, Port Elizabeth has always assisted the fast bowlers. There is initial movement in the air which makes it a difficult wicket to bat on in the initial overs. Batsmen have to patiently build their innings in this ground and fetch rewards for sticking on the wicket.
On most occasions the team winning the toss has decided to bowl at this wicket. Known for assisting the fast bowlers the pitch offers good seam and swing in the early overs. Any captain winning the toss on this wicket shouldn’t have hesitation to have a go at the opponents with the ball.
If form is anything to go by both the teams are struggling at the moment. With three straight losses there would be worry in both the camps at the moment. Dolphins are struggling both with the bat and the ball at present. For Warriors the problem has been with the batting as their bowlers have done relatively well.
Our Prediction is for Warriors to win this game!
