Sophie Luff’s side has had a bad tournament and comes here with a 39-run defeat against the Southern Brave Women. They are sitting in the bottom of the points table with just two wins so far. The side has nothing to lose here playing at home and Luff would like to see a good show from her players that would let them end it on a high. 

Bryony Smith and Hayley Matthews have to do well at the top as their inconsistency has hurt the side’s prospects in this season. The middle order has looked good, and runs would be expected from Georgia Redmayne, Sarah Taylor and Luff shall have to make runs. Down the order Georgia Hennessy, Alice McLeod and Piepa Cleary will look to add quick runs to the score. 

Piepa Cleary and Bryony Smit were expenskive in the last game and the side would like to see better efforts from them here. Matthew has been their best bowler in the tournament, and she will have to do well for the team to win. Nicole Harvey, Alex Griffiths and Hennessy add depth to this attack.

Heather Knight’s side went down in the last game against the Oval Invincibles Women by 8 wickets after a poor show from their batters. This loss has nearly ended their hopes of making it to the next round. The side has been inconstant with the bat and as they play their last game Knight would look for a consolation win. 

Tammy Beaumont has looked good in the last three games, and she will look to set up a good opening stand with Naomi Dattani. Knight has been on and off with her form and the side would like to see good show from her along with Deandra Dottin and Danielle Gibson. Deepti Sharma and Chloe Tryon would need to play the role of finishers well in this game. 

Deepti Sharma has been brilliant right throughout the tournament and the side would want her to deliver sharing the new ball with Freya Davies. Sophie Munro, Charlotte Dean and Knight also did well to defend the low score in the last game and they will have to come up with similar efforts in this game.
