West Indies are the defending champions in the T20 cricket, but they are suffering from a slump in form in T20Is recently. Chris Gayle`s return may bolster their attacking batting line-up. Nicholas Pooran played superbly and scored an attacking fifty last match after early wickets. Rest of the batting line-up stumbled and they were not able to put up a winning total.

Sheldon Cotrell was good with the ball and he picked up wickets at regular intervals. Jason Holder, Ashley Nurse and Carlos Brathwaite bowled decent spells but were not enough to stop England from successfully chasing the score. Devendra Bishoo might get the nod ahead of Fabian Allen due to his wicket taking capabilities. 

England was expected to win all the series when they landed here. But, they lost the Test series and ODI series were shared between them. They have a chance to win the T20I series now and would love return with at least a trophy. Jonny Bairstow set the tone for the chase with his stroke –filled 68 runs.

Sam Billings and Joe Denly made a much needed responsible partnership of 50 runs before getting dismissed at the last stages of the chase. Tom Curran was the Man of the Match for capturing 4 wickets and halting the West Indian batting line–up`s momentum. Adil Rashid and Chris Jordan provided good support by tightening the run-rate at the other end. Liam Plunkett and David Willey were erratic and leaked runs at a high economy.
