Resurgent West Indies will be looking to start their campaign on a decent note when they face Pakistan in the second game of ICC Cricket World Cup in Nottingham on Friday.

Jason Holder and co. managed to register a morale-boosting win over New Zealand in the warm-up game played at County Ground in Bristol. With this performance, there is no doubt that the West Indies cannot take lightly as they aim to do well in this competition.

On the other hand, Pakistan will be desperate to their end their losing streak in white-ball cricket. The side will under pressure after suffering consecutive defeats against Australia and then England.

The side has certainly made improvements in white-ball cricket in the last six months. Jason Holder has done an excellent job in the captaincy role and will be hoping that West Indies can get off to a decent start in this World Cup.

Darren Bravo and Shimron Hetmyer will be looking to do well in this opening game of the World Cup. Hetmyer is a promising talent who will be keen to make an impact in his debut game in the showpiece event.

Captain Jason Holder scored 47 off 32 balls with the help of three fours and three sixes to push West Indies score beyond close to 400 runs. All-rounder Andre Russell smashed a breathtaking 54 not out off 25 balls with the help of seven fours and three sixes.
