Bet NowYorkshire Vikings are looking in good form and they would look to continue with the same momentum as they take on the Derbyshire Falcons in the next game of the Vitality T20 Blast 2021. The Vikings have done well with three wins and saw their last game against the Durham Cricket washed away by rains. The Falcons come here with a heart-breaking loss against the Notts Outlaws.
The campaign hasn’t gone as per their plans for the Derbyshire Falcons as they have managed just two wins so far in their six games. The side has struggled with the bat and needs to improve their performance here. Vikings are in good form at the moment and they would be looking to continue with the same form as they play at home.
David Willey’s side saw its last game against Durham Cricket be washed away by rain. Prior to that, the side had defeated the Worcestershire Rapids by 94 runs in a one-sided contest. Their batting looks in good form at the moment and Willey would be aiming for a win here which would help them move up on the points table.
Adam Lyth and Jonny Bairstow will need to offer a good start in this game and Bairstow would be confident after his hundred against Worcestershire. They have a strong middle order with Dawid Malan, Tom Kohler-Cadmore and Harry Brook scoring runs in the tournament. Will Fame and Willey would need to do the big hitting towards the end of the innings.
Their bowlers are looking in good form at the moment and the side would want David Willey and Matthew Fisher to continue with the same rhythm as they had done so far. The presence of Lockie Ferguson in the attack strengthens it. In Adil Rashid and Dominic Bess they have two experienced spinners and they will trouble the Falcons in this game.

Billy Godleman’s side went down against the Notts Outlaws in the last game by 2 runs under the DLS method. It has so far been a poor campaign for the side as they have lost four out of the six games they have played. They are struggling at the 7th spot on the points table and need to win this game and get their campaign back on track.
Openers Luis Reece and Harry Came have been inconsistent and the side would expect a good start from them in this game. Godleman will need to hold the middle order together and expect a good show from Leus du Plooy and Matthew Critchley. In the lower middle order Brooke Guest and Fynn Hudson-Prentice will need to add quick runs to the total which they haven’t done consistently.
Their bowlers would be under pressure here as Yorkshire Vikings have a very strong batting line-up. Logan van Beek and Conor McKerr will be expected to strike early for the side. George Scrimshaw was expensive in the last game and he will need to bowl tight lines alongside Fynn Hudson-Prentice and Matthew Critchley.

There are chances of rain during the game at Leeds and the skies out be overcast here. The wicket has been excellent to bat on where the ball has come onto the bat nicely allowing batsmen to play their strikes. The side batting first would need 180 runs on the board to win here.
Headingley, Leeds is a great venue for T20 cricket. There is early assistance for the bowlers on this surface but once the batsmen get set in they can score runs easily on this wicket. The ball hits the bat hard and allows batsmen to free their arms. There is not much on this surface for the spinners as the ball doesn’t turn here much.
Big scores have been made a chased down here at this venue and this makes it a very difficult wicket to set a score on. Both the captains would have this in their mind during the toss and the one winning it would have little hesitation in bowling first.
Derbyshire Falcons are struggling with their form at the moment and their batsmen have lacked consistency. They would have to improve on this count if they are to win the next game. Yorkshire Vikings are in great form and the side would be playing at home where they enjoy a good record and this would make them favorites in this game.
