Adam Lyth’s side is through to the next round but they come here after a disastrous show in the last game losing to the Birmingham Bears by 10 wickets. The side was bowled out for mere 81 runs and they would have to come out of this shock defeat. Lyth would be expecting a much better show from his batsmen in this game. 

None of their batsmen held on to the crease in the last game and the side would need a better show from Lyth and Mark Stoneman opening the batting for the side. Jordan Thompson, Gary Ballance and Harry Brook have to score runs in the middle. In George Hill, Dominic Bess and Jonathan Tattersall the side has good depth in the batting and shall be expecting a better show from them. 

Matthew Fisher and Lockie Ferguson will have to grab early wickets as Lancashire batsmen are looking strong at the top. Thompson and Matthew Waite have been expensive and the side would look for tighter spells from them in this game. Dominic Bess and Hill shall have to play good supporting acts bowling tight lines in the middle overs.

Dane Vilas’ side kept its hopes alive for a berth in the next round with a convincing 34-run win against Worcestershire Rapids. It was a good show from their bowlers in the last game as they defended an average total successfully. They have done well against Yorkshire in the last few seasons and shall look to continue with the good record. 

Finn Allen and Keaton Jennings provided a good start in the last game and they would need to carry their form forward. Vilas and Alex Davies had a bad outing and the side would have big expectations from them in this must-win game. Rob Jones comes here after a good show and adds strength to the lower middle order along with Luke Wood and Steven Croft. 

Saqib Mahmood and Tom Hartley bowled the side to victory in the last game picking four wickets each and they would like to begin from where they left in the last game. Croft also bowled tight spells with the new ball. Luke Wood, Luke Wells and Matthew Parkinson must bowl tight spells here as Yorkshire Vikings have good hitters in their ranks.

Headingley, Leeds is s a good venue for T20 cricket as there is something for the batsmen and bowlers here. The ball comes onto the bat nicely allowing the batsmen to play on the up. Fast bowlers have done well at this venue in the past. Spinners who use their variations tend to do well at this venue.
