Zimbabwe will look to win this match and take some confidence going into the ICC T20 qualifiers to be played later this year. Afghanistan has been a force to reckon with in the T20I format. They will also look to test their bench strength in this match and look for their best squad for the big tournament. A win against even a second-string Afghan side will do a world of good for the distraught Zimbabwe team.

Zimbabwe Preview

Zimbabwe team`s form and confidence are going deep down the spiral with every loss and they need to secure a win to raise their spirits going forward. Ryan Burl and Richmond Mutumboni have scored fighting 50+ scores but ended up on losing side in both the matches. Regis Chakabva and Skipper Hamilton Masakadza have played some good cameos but were not able to convert them into a big score. Pacers Chris Mpofu and Kyle Jarvis shared 5 wickets between them in the last match but failed to control the run rate. Spinners Sean Williams and R Mutumbodzi gave runs at just 6 RPO and tried to pressurize the batsmen in the middle. Their bowling unit needs to perform as a team to control the opposition to a low total.
Key Players:
