Ireland Women to win
Tournament: Ireland Women tour of Zimbabwe 2021 | Format: ODI | Venue: Harare Sports Club, Harare, Zimbabwe | Toss: To Bowl
Bet NowIt was a terrific comeback from Ireland Women in the second game of the 4-Match series as they registered a convincing 80-run win. This would have come as a huge confidence booster for the side after they had gone down in the first game. This was the first win for the side in 14 games and this would surely lift the spirits for the side given the way they were criticized after the loss in the first game.
Zimbabwe Women showed their inexperience with the ball as most of their bowlers were unable to maintain good line and length. They lack strength in this department of the game, and this is likely to act as a weakness in this game. With the series levelled it will be interesting which of the sides can take an unassailable lead here.
Mary-Anne Musonda would be upset with the way her side played in the last game. Their bowling was all over the place and never in the game, the side managed to put up a challenge for the Irish girls. Having surrendered the momentum Musonda would want her girls to come out and fight it hard in the next game.
Modester Mupachikwa and Chiedza Dhururu have failed in both the games and the side would need a good start from them. Mary-Anne Musonda will have to build partnerships in the middle order in the company of Ashley Ndiraya and Pellagia Mujaji. Josephine Nkomo played a good knock in the last game and the side would be looking for contributions from Precious Marange as well.
Josephine Nkomo has looked good, and she would be looking to strike early in the game with Precious Marange. The rest of the bowlers failed to execute their plans in the last game and the side shall look for a better show in this game from the likes of Esther Mbofana, Nomvelo Sibanda, Loren Tshuma, and Loryn Phiri.

Laura Delany would be extremely happy with the way her side bounced back after the surprising loss in the last game. They batted extremely well and were on the money when it came to their bowling show. Delany would like to see similar efforts from her players and take a 2-1 lead in the series.
Leah Paul and Gaby Lewis set up a match-winning stand in the last game and the side would like to see a similar start from them here. In the middle order, the side has good strengths Amy Hunter, Delany, and Shauna Kavanagh. They would also look to see quick runs from Orla Prendergast and Sophie MacMahon.
Jane Maguire and Paul were brilliant with the new ball and the side would like them to bowl similar lines in the game. Celeste Raack and Cara Murray also showed good rhythm and they would look to continue with it. MacMahon and Delany bring in lots of experience to the game and shall look to exploit Zimbabwe’s weaknesses.

The sky of Harare is expected to be clear on October 09. The wicket shall have dual pace and the batters need to get their eyes in before starting to play their strokes as the odd ball would stop on them. The side batting first in this game would be happy with a score in the range of 250 runs.
The pitch at Harare Sports Club is slow and batters need to play a patient game here to succeed. The large outfield doesn’t allow too many boundaries like most other venues across the world. Fast bowlers do get some rewards with the new ball, but it is the spin bowlers who enjoy bowling on this surface.
There is some assistance with the new ball and the track has been known for becoming better in the second innings of the game. This is something the two captains would have in their mind and the side winning it shall opt to bowl first in this game.
Zimbabwe Women showed their inexperience in the last game where they allowed the game to drift away from their hands. Their bowlers would have to execute their game plan perfectly for the side to win this game. It was a perfect show by Ireland Women in the last game with the bat and the ball and they have more strengths in both the departments. This would make them favorites to win the game.
