Surprisingly no one expected Aston Villa to falter after such a good start to the season. But that’s just football for you. The Midlanders have been on a 5 game winless run before breaking for International break. In one of those 5 games, they were beaten by Palace 2-1 in the Carabao Cup. 

On the other hand, Palace have yet to win a game on the road in the Premier League this season. They have quite a few key players unavailable and that unavailability showed cracks in the squad against Fulham. You would expect Emery’s men to make the most of this situation and return to winning ways. Although Glasner has won the previous two meetings, Watkins and company will have a big say in the outcome of this fixture.
