Chelsea’s busy end to the season continues as they face another Big Six club on their way to securing a top four position for themselves.

Following this game, they have the FA Cup final against Leicester at the weekend, before playing Leicester once again in the league and then of course the Champions League final at the end of the month.

The Blues have a deep squad of players to choose from, but Thomas Tuchel will be determined to get it right here against Arsenal in an important derby match for both teams. After all, they were superb in beating City at the weekend.

Arsenal’s star hasn’t risen anywhere near as high as Chelsea’s this season, but have found some form of their own in the league by winning their last two fixtures.

Crashing out of the Europa League was a bitter pill for them to swallow, but should they win their remaining league games, they could finish in a European place.

Chelsea FC Preview

Form Guide (all comps): WDWWW

Reasons to be cheerful:

Sensational win over Manchester City at the weekend

Win here could see them move further ahead of Leicester

Reasons to be fearful:

Lost to Arsenal earlier in the season

Have an FA Cup final to think about three days later

Understandably, it will be tempting for Chelsea players to look further ahead than this game with more important fixtures on the horizon over the next couple of weeks.

While that may be true, with two finals coming up, Tuchel must ensure that his players are fully focused here, with a top four place still not yet secured. Should they lose to Man City in the Champions League final, as well as drop out of the top four, they’ll miss out on the Champions League next season.

Arsenal may present a tougher test than their league positions may suggest, having beaten Chelsea earlier in the season.

Chelsea are likely to rotate one or two players here, with the likes of Mount, Havertz and Jorginho rested against City.

Star Man – Timo Werner

The expensive striker is finally hitting some consistent form, with a goal against Real Madrid followed by assist against City.

Arsenal FC Preview

Form Guide (all comps): LLWDW

Reasons to be cheerful:

Back-to-back wins prove confidence should be high

Conceded just three goals from their last five in the league

Reasons to be fearful:

Chelsea are a much better side than the one they beat earlier in the season

Recent wins have come against low table opposition

Arsenal will be reasonably pleased with the way in which they bounced back from Europa League exit, comfortably beating West Brom and relegating them in the process.

They also beat Newcastle in their previous league game, proving that they may have a little run going on right now, contrary to what we’ve seen all season.

Unfortunately for the Gunners, those wins came against teams right at the lower end of the table, whereas Chelsea are arguably the most in-form team in the league right now.

Despite that, Arsenal have some players in form right now, with their strikers Aubameyang and Lacazette fit, and the likes of Saka and Smith Rowe showing quality.

Can they take advantage of Chelsea’s busy schedule?

Star Man – Bukayo Saka

The youngster has probably been Arsenal’s best player this season, and provided another assist at the weekend.

Chelsea are favourites, but will rotate players

Arsenal can always up their levels against the big clubs

Could be a game with plenty of chances

Chelsea will feel that, regardless of which players they choose to start this game, they will have enough quality to win it.

That’s how deep this squad is, especially with the likes of Mason Mount to come back in after being rested at the weekend.

Arsenal have usually saved their best performances for games against other big clubs over the past couple of years, and could pull something out of the bag here, but Chelsea are favourites.

Chelsea to win 2-0
