The Magpies were happy that they’re team let them down before the International break. It’s almost as if the break can be now used as an excuse for the defeat. Newcastle lack one thing and that is consistency. If they get that right they could have one of those sensational seasons in the league and in Europe. Eddie Howe is certainly the right man at the right place. But being consistent isn’t easy. Now with no International break till March, the Magpies can build on some momentum and seal maximum points. 

As for Palace, they need to accumulate wins. Oliver Glasner’s men have what it takes to stay up. Once injured players return, they could mount a comeback, with only a win separating Palace and Everton who are in 15th. The table this season is tight and congested. It looks like the game where points will be shared at Selhurst Park.
