The Toffees had won four of their six home games under Sean Dyche, so to go there and win comfortably was a remarkable result, considering that the Cottagers had lost four on the spin.

Although they are still without Aleksandar Mitrovic, Silva’s men can enjoy a successful end to the season and securing a top half spot in their first season back in the top division.

A win here could take them above Brentford in 9th. It’s a result they’ll be confident of securing, having beaten Leeds earlier this season.

With such a passionate home support, it’s a surprise that Leeds have lost their last two games at Elland Road in such dismal fashion.

Five goals were shipped against Crystal Palace, followed by a worse thrashing of 6-1 against Liverpool a week later. It means that Leeds haven’t kept a clean sheet in their last eight games.

At the time of the season where performances count for less than results, Leeds are achieving neither currently. With teams like West Ham, Bournemouth, Wolves and Palace all winning above them, Leeds are being drawn into the danger beneath.

Another defeat here could prove disastrous.
