Beyond that, however, Baghpat struggled to contain Samaleswari's relentless attacks, with defensive lapses—particularly from set-pieces—proving costly once again. They faced eight shots on target while managing just two themselves.

The result confirmed Baghpat FC's elimination from the tournament after two successive defeats, leaving them with only pride to play for in their final group-stage fixture.
