Seeking revenge for the 2012 finals that still haunt them, Bayern Munich will face Chelsea, who are hoping for more success after their FIFA Club World Cup victory. Going into this match, Bayern Munich has been on a roll in Bundesliga play and looks like a real force after being eliminated during the quarterfinals last year. Led by Harry Kane up front, the superstar striker has already scored three goals and added two assists in his first two matches. 

Kane remains impossible to defend and is quietly a top-three finisher in the world. Alongside him, Luis Diaz has already made an impact, scoring twice and adding two assists. Diaz is almost always open and can create transition opportunities, which has helped Michael Olise find the back of the net three times.  A midfielder who can play at any level, Olise has made 10 progressive passes and been important in developing pressure. 

Serge Gnabry has also added 12 similar passes while providing two assists, allowing Leon Goretzka, who has three interceptions, to play his defensive style. On the back end, Dayot Upamecano, with six clearances, and Konrad Laimer should lock it down, helping the world-class Manuel Neuer.

For Chelsea, the team will be highly motivated after winning the latest big tournament and having already started the EPL season. Enzo Fernandez, with two goals, has been great to watch as he's shown a lot of promise in attacking the net and has also put on a passing show for his strikers. 

Having made 11 progressive passes this season, João Pedro has also added two goals and two assists while being a terrific all-around piece. As someone who has completed over 20 passes that led to chances up front, he has also helped Estevão Willian create opportunities. 

Cole Palmer is another scary piece who continues to develop with his timing and speed, and he is working his way back from an injury. Defensively, Moisés Caicedo will drop back and continue building on his 12 tackles, while Trevoh Chalobah has also made five interceptions. With Marc Cucurella leading that group and always making the biggest plays, it helps goalkeeper Robert Sánchez continue to be strong in net.
