Under Capobianco, who took charge of the club back in 2024, the Namdharis finished seventh in the league standings, an improvement from their 9th place finish in the opening season.
Clearly the aim for them will be to finish in the top five this season. Like many sides this season, the squad has seen significant churn. Key exits include Jaspreet Singh, Calvin Rosario Baretto, Francis Ado and Akashdeep Singh. In response, reinforcements have arrived.
Niraj Kumar comes in from Churchill Brothers to step into goal, while Kamalpreet Singh and Sehnaj Singh add experience at the back. The headline move, though, is Seilenthang Lotjem’s loan switch from Mumbai City FC, expected to inject spark into the attack.

De Silva, the Brazilian forward, was at the heart of Namdhari’s success last season.
