Bengaluru Bulls Preview

The Bengaluru Bulls have been one of the best teams in the tournament along with Dabang and the Pirates. Hi flyer Pawan Sehrawat has led the team with style and swag and no wonder he is the highest grosser of the season. He has earned 232 raid points from 188 successful raids including 13 Super 10’s. Once in a while the opposition is able to isolate him, but Pawan has tormented most of the defenders in the tournament.

Recently they lost to U Mumba and the Tamil Thalaiva, everyone thought that this might be the biggest breakdown of the season. But The Bulls came back to win the next game and forced a TIE against a strong Dabang side. Their defense has improved its efficiency which has improved their chances of winning games even if Pawan is not able to score.

The Bulls have executed 326 successful raids out of 744 successful team raids. 

They also have conducted 170 successful team tackles which is the highest among all teams. 

They are a high maintenance team as they have earned 397 team raid points while conceding 629 team points. Both are highest in their respective categories.

Raiders Bharat and G B More have given strong support to Pawan while defenders Ankit, Saurabh Nandal and Aman have been lethal. Gujarat Giants Preview

Gujarat Fortune Giants have been brave but more than that they have been reckless in most of their games. They have not been able to blossom this season or reap a healthy harvest. They remind you of an arid zone which is never able to get a good crop due to low rainfall. 

The team came back in style after recovering from Covid and they have a new star- raider Pradeep Kumar. The major reason for their non performance was the inconsistencies of their defence which never took off. They also did not have many replacement options for specific positions and hence they languish at the 11th place in the points table with the knock-outs becoming an impossible dream to achieve.

They will be up against the Bulls to whom they lost by 9 points in their last meeting. It was a high scoring game where they could not trap Pawan Sehrawat as he went on to score 19 points. The Gujarat raiders also earned well in this high scoring game but it all boiled down to their defence which could earn only 11 tackle points in that match along with conceding 3 all-outs. This has been their chronic problem.

They have conceded the least number of points this season but they haven’t earned enough to dominate and win games. They have conceded 474 points in 15 games while earning just 280 raid points. They will have a tough time against the Bulls who look in ominous form. The Bulls are in rampaging form while the Fortune Giants are still searching for their fortune cookies. This is a contest between the Bulls who have conceded the highest number of points while they have also earned the highest. While the Fortune Giants have conceded the least but earned the least too. The Fortune Giants need to unleash raider Pradeep Kumar very early and create panic in the Bulls camp. Their defence has under-performed and if they hope for a miracle, they will have to hunt down every raider that comes in their half for all the remaining matches. 

The Bulls are in a much better position with Pawan maintaining his efficiency as well as his fitness. They beat the Fortune Giants comfortably earlier in the season and winning this match will give them the valuable points they need to maintain their position in the top 3.

The Bulls will once again look forward for another massacre by Pawan. If he gets going it will be very difficult for the Giants to tame the Bulls.
