They have Jaideep Dahiya who was one of the top raiders of season 8. But the Steelers faltered in their third game against the Jaipur Pink Panthers as they lost the game by a margin of 113 points. 

The defense struggled as the Steelers could earn just 9 tackle points in the entire game and they were all-out thrice by their opponents. This was a wake-up call for the Steelers. They have a few areas where they seem to be struggling. They have just inflicted 2 all-outs in 3 games while conducting 28 successful team tackles. 

Though this is the beginning of a long season, Haryana Steelers will need to be ready for the long haul as well as contingency plans. They are heavily dependent on raiders Meetu and Manjeet. Left corner Joginder Narwal is their captain and he is an experienced campaigner. But at the fag end of his career, he will need to motivate himself as well as inspire his young guns.
