They hovered in the bottom half of the points table as they could not get a proper combination in their defense. The Fortune Giants have been particularly good in their raiding department. When all seemed to be lost, the Fortune Giants have given themselves a lifeline when they beat arch-rivals U Mumba in their last match.

If they can win their last 2 matches, they may just get lucky. The Fortune Giants have won 3 consecutive matches which still keeps them in contention for the playoff. They beat the Puneri Paltan followed by a win over the Patna Pirates. They got the better of U Mumba in their last match. After they play the Telegu Titans, their final match will be with the Jaipur Pink Panthers which will be their biggest. That encounter will decide the fate of the Gujarat Fortune Giants.

Gujarat could not develop a good defensive combination this season. They also stuck rigidly to standard tactics which did not yield results. They were totally dependent on their raiders throughout the season.

The Telegu Titans have been disappointing this season. A start-studded line-up along with deputy coach Manjeet Chillar who was part of Dabang Delhi who won the last season, still cannot cultivate a winning habit.

Since the first game, the Telegu Titans have been searching for a decent combination. Big names like Siddharth Desai and Monu Goyat could not deliver while bigger names in the defense have failed to impress. Regular breakdowns, lack of coordination, and deviation from strategy have made life difficult for the Titans this season. The Titans also suffered a blow as their inform raider Rajneesh was injured in a freak accident earlier in the season. 

Since then the Titans have been on a losing spree. They have won just 2 matches this season. They beat the Patna Pirates and snapped a win against U Mumba. But that will not help their cause as they are out of the race for the playoff. Fortunately, Siddharth Desai is back in form. He has earned 142 raid points in 17 matches.

Telegu Titans were completely off-color against the Tamil Thalaiva in their last match. They will still depend on raiders Siddharth and Abhishek. But all-rounder Hanumanthu will shine with another Super 10 while defender Ankit will be lethal. Titans may play youngsters like Mohammad Silas, Nitin, and Hamid Nader.

The Gujarat Fortune Giants will totally depend on their raiders. They will be aggressive from the first raid. Prateek Dahiya will score a Super 10 while South Korean Dong Geon will lead the side.
