One of the most vibrant teams of the PKL got a wake-up call in their first match as they were hammered by the UP Yodha. The margin of victory for UP was 30 points and this is enough to indicate that the Steelers were still sleepy as they entered the arena. Haryana Steelers have always used team effort to fox their opponents. They have been tactically superior in most of their games. 

Haryana Steelers have won 13 out of their 21 matches. Most of these victories have some in the last few weeks. They have 70 points in all as they play the Bengaluru Bulls in their last league match. If they win this match, they will jump above Dabang Delhi who are placed 3rd with 13 victories in the season. This will be a significant jump for the Steelers who are currently 5th in the points table. Haryana lost their last match to the Puneri Paltan. This was a golden opportunity for them to tame a top rated team. If the Steelers could have defeated the Paltan, it would have given them a sense of confidence as they enter the eliminators. Haryana los the match by a margin of 15 points. Though raiders Vinay and Ashish scored 18 raid points between them, the Haryana defense could not stop the Puneri raiders. This kept them behind their opponents through the match. Captain Jaideep was ruthless with 7 tackle points while right corner Mohit Nandal scored a Hi 5. Former Champions Bengaluru Bulls have been a pale shadow of themselves. They lost their first three matches which hurt them badly through the season. Due to these early losses, Bengaluru was never able to recover. The Bulls had a decent run in season 9 as they reached the play-off. They were consistent and effective with their tactics. But this time they messed up with their combination and waited too long for things to change. Season 10 has exposed several of their weaknesses. First of all they seem to be very predictable. They lost their first bout to the Gujarat Giants even after leading at half-time. They suffered an all-out in the second half which took the game away. Then they lost to the Bengal Warriors, a match they should have won. The Bulls suffered another defeat at the hands of Dabang Delhi and hence the chinks in their armor are exposed.

With just 7 victories out of 21 matches their fate was sealed last week as they were out of the race for the next round. The Bulls are placed at the 9th position as they take on the Haryana Steelers in their last outing of the season. The Bulls changed their combination mid-season giving opportunities to young raiders. But their defense remained inconsistent. They lost their last match to Dabang Delhi by a margin of 8 points. Young raider Sushil scored 11 points but the defense failed to live up to the expectations. The Bengaluru defense could score just 9 tackle points in the entire match. The Bulls intensified their attack in the second half to inflict 2 all-outs on Dabang, but it was too late for them.
