Puneri Paltan has been grappling with multiple issues right from the beginning of the season. First it was the fitness issue with Nitin Tomar, then the form of star Rahul Chaudhari, then veteran defender Vishal Bharadwaj being out of form.

Fortunately they were able to overcome Rahul Chaudhary and with the return of Nitin Tomar there was hope, but the Paltan is not able to win matches.

With the rise of young raiders like Aslam Inamdar and Mohit Goyat, they have a good raiding force, but just like the Steelers they are unable to deliver the knockout punch.

Currently lodged in the 10th position in the points table, the only way ahead for Puneri Paltan is to win matches.

They inflicted a massive defeat of 19 points over the strong U Mumba side only to slide down in the next match to lose to UP Yodha in a high scoring game.

They were leading till the first half against UP Yodha and then the lost the steam in the second half.

This is their major concern.

But there are some positives-

Paltan has executed 11 Super Tackles as well as inflicted 13 all outs.

Young guns Aslam Inamdar and Mohit Goyat clocked 29 raids points together against the UP Yodha.

Its high time that the Paltan starts contributing together as a team. If young raiders can earn points for them consistently, the onus is on the defence to tackle every attack of the opposition and motivate the Paltan to achieve something extraordinary.

Making predictions for this match is like playing with fire. Both the teams have similar issues and both need a boost to win matches. If Haryana Steelers have Vikash and Meetu as their top raiders, Paltan has Aslam and Mohit Goyat. The Steelers have one of the best defence of the season, but the Puneri Paltan has the experience of Nitin Tomar.

The Puneri Paltan lost to UP Yodha in a high scoring game, this shows that they can earn raid points at a quick pace. The Steelers have been able to vary the pace of play efficiently as they exhibited against the Gujarat Fortune Giants, UP Yodha and Dabang Delhi.
