Jaipur started in a lukewarm fashion but quickly recovered to consistently win games. MVP of season 9 Arjun Deshwal is their main weapon. Though the Pink Panthers have generally struggled with their support raiders, Arjun has been on a phenomenal run. He has scored 262 raid points from 200 successful raids. This includes 16 Super 10’s which is the highest by any raiders this season. 

With support raiders like Ajith, Bhavani Rajput and Shubham Shelke, the Pink Panthers have not been pressed too hard in their raiding. Their success rate in team raids is around 38% which is a bit lower as compare to other teams. But Jaipur has compensated for with their rock solid defense. Left corner Ankush is in the top 10 with 62 successful tackles in 21 matches. Captain Sunil Kumar and Reza Mirbhageri have resonated along with Sahul Kumar. Hence Jaipur looks unstoppable with Arjun Deshwal earning at will while the defense blocks every move by the opposition. 

Jaipur has an efficiency of about 42% in team tackles. They have also executed 30 Super tackles in the season which has helped them overcome difficult situations.

The young guns turned the table with their grit and teamwork as they qualified for the eliminators. The Haryana Steelers won 13 out of their 22 league games to finish 5th in the points table. The Steelers will be up against the defending champions in the second semi-finals. This is a golden opportunity for them to earn their maiden call-up for the finals. Haryana had a lot of issues in the first half of the season. They drafted Siddharth Desai for 1 Crore in the auction with the hope that he will rip through the opponents. But Siddharth could not replicate his form which he displayed a few season back for U Mumba. This pushed Haryana back to the drawing board as coach Manpreet had to try various raiding combinations. This resulted in a few losses in the first few weeks of the tournament.

Coach Manpreet had to get veteran Chandran Ranjit to set the tone post which youngsters like Vinay, Shivam Patare and all-rounder Ashish could bring some stability. Haryana improved their efficiency in team raids to about 35% due to these changes. Captain Jaideep and right cover Mohit Nandal have been the pillars of their defense. Both are in the top 10 with Mohit executing 63 successful tackles in 22 matches.

Their team tackle success rate is about 44% which is second to table toppers Puneri Paltan. Hence the defense has become their main weapon. Haryana managed to inflict 33 Super tackles in the season.
