Their raiders took a lot of time to settle as Sachin Tanwar and Manjeet looked rusty. The introduction of young raider Sandeep Kumar has helped them stabilize. Defenders Krishnan and all-rounder Ankit have been their stars as both have been consistent and impressive. Both Krishnan and Ankit have executed 39 successful tackles each in 14 match. Captain Neeraj Kumar was among the top 10 defenders last year. He hasn’t been up to the mark in season 10. 

Patna Pirates had a tough match against the UP Yodha. They went back to a defensive strategy which earned them a win. Ankit scored a Hi 5 while Krishnan scored 3 tackle points. The Patna Pirates have dominated Bengal Warriors over the years. They have won 13 out of their 22 matches. The Pirates scored their highest team total of 69 points in a match against the Warriors in season 7. Though they struggled against Bengal last year. The Pirates lost to Bengal in their first league match of season 10. Bengal Warriors hammered 60 points against the Pirates in that game. Patna will plan to avenge this defeat in front of their fans. This will be an epic encounter as the Pirates are up against an inform Maninder Singh. If Patna is not able to tame Maninder, this might be a crucial blow to their chances this season.
