They seem to have chosen the perfect team for such a long league. Their raiders may not feature in the top 10 but they have been effective. Their combinations have unsettled the best defenders as the Pirates have looted points at will. Patna has one of the best sets of defenders who have been fearless and sensational with their moves. Left corner Mohamedreza has been especially dangerous in most games. Sajin and Neeraj Kumar have executed lethal body blocks with ease. As they qualified for the next stage quite early, they have tried their bench in some games. Their team was led by Monu in the last match against Dabang. They also tried players like Mohit, Balaji, Shubham Shinde and Kenyan Daniel Odhiambo. This will allow players like Monu Goyat, Sachin Tanwar, Prashant Rai and Neeraj Kumar to refresh themselves for the big knock out games.
