The Pirates have been the epitome of class and team balance in this season. They started off with a few hiccups but then settled into a beautiful rhythm. They have already qualified for the next stage due to their victories and now have an opportunity to warm up for the knock-outs. They have been successful due to their consistency, both in raiding as well as defence. They have groomed young raiders like Ghuman Singh who spearheads the pack quite often. Sachin Tanwar has been a livewire while Prashanth Rai brings in the calmness whenever required. Defenders like left corner Mohamedreza and Neeraj Kumar have been overtly efficient which has helped the Pirates hunt down opposition raiders at will.

Their worst nightmares have come true in this tournament as they have won just 1 out of their 19 games. They have been unlucky on occasions but nothing went right for them at all. They have struggled throughout the season with losses piling on them. With no chance of making it anywhere in the tournament, the Titans have to play for pride and for their fans. They lost top players early in the season and that set them back light years in comparison to other teams.

Raiders like Ankit Beniwal, Rajneesh and T Adarsh have kept their flag flying high with some inspirational performances but this has not changed their destiny. They take on one of the best and toughest side of the tournament. This will be another challenge for them as they will have to fight in order to save themselves another hammering. But they need to take inspiration from the fact that they have played good kabaddi. Though their unforced errors far outnumber their good deeds, they will still try and create an upset.
