Bengaluru Bulls were lucky to get away with a tie in their first encounter of the new year in the southern derby against Telegu Titans. They were made to work hard by the Titans who looked set to gulp the match. Surprisingly Super star Pawan Sehrawat was rendered to the bench for more than 25 minutes of play and this is the formula for the Paltan.

They have been on a disastrous run in this season and they will just hope that the new year brings them some luck. Rahul Chaudhary is not firing, the defence is not in resonance, supporting raiders are over burdened. No wonder they are last in the points table with 5 points in 4 matches with a score difference of 32 points.

But this is a long league where it doesn't take too much to turn the tide. Puneri Paltan has to play within their limitations and look for a loss less than 7 points or tie the match.

They need to give CPR to their defensc in order to survive.

You can't plan a lot when you are last in the points table, it's a sad note on which Puneri Paltan will be entering the arena in 2022. With a disappointing run in the season, its time for redemption for the Paltan. The basic issue is not playing together as a team.

The Paltan has Star raider Rahul Chaudhary for inspiration, young raiders like Pankaj Mohite and Aslam Inamdar showing the spark, Defenders Abhinesh, Sombir and of course captain Vishal Bharadwaj.

But most of their components have misfired and that has broken down their vehicle this season. But nothing is lost yet. We have seen on numerous occasions, teams stranded at the bottom of the table make Daring come backs. Puneri Paltan needs to set the course on fire with something innovative and unconventional.

Bulls are now in the second spot after 5 games with 18 points. Things look good for them after a disastrous start to the season. Pawan Sehrawat is in great form with 56 point from 46 successful raids. Chanran Ranjith has given him supporting fire power with 29 raid points.

Coach Randhir Singh will have a lot to repair work at hand as far as the defence combinations are concerned. Pawan Sehrawat was handled pretty well by the opposition in their last encounter where the Bulls had to settle for a tie against the Titans.

Though Puneri Paltan is not in great form, Pawan needs to be careful if the opposition gets the better of him.
