New kids on the block- Aslam Inamdar, Pankaj Mohite, acrobatic Mohit Goyat. With this line up, Paltan is a dangerous and lethal combo. Stingy in their raids and miserly in their defence. This could be the recipe for success for Puneri Paltan.

Puneri Paltan have invested in local talent this season, this young group is expected to display raw and powerful swag on the mat. They need to improve on bonus point collection as well as multi point raids.

This will help them reduce the score difference in the points table.

Very few teams have dominated the mat like the Pirates. But they were teary eyed when they lost the last match by just a point. They will need to revisit their strategy as the last point conceded by them was in the form of a bonus.

Good news for the Pirates, even if the opposition targets Monu Goyat, Sachin Tanwar has emerged as their new pirate along with captain Prashant Rai.

Another ray of hope is the performance of the super fit Iranian all rounder Mohammedrezza who tackled efficiently from the left corner in the last match. He along with defender Sajin and raider Sachin were able to steal a hat trick of super tackles against Pardeep Narwal in the last match.

Raiding is not a worry for the Pirates as much as consistency in their defence. They will have to work hard to keep Monu Goyat on the mat for most of the match.

Winning Prediction

This will be a tricky contest for both the teams. Though Puneri Paltan will be happy with the emergence of new kids, they will be worried about the form and intensity of their premier raider Rahul Chaudhary. An on song Rahul is unbeatable. But the Paltan will be very excited and motivated by their performance against the Titans and will look to corner the Pirates.

Patna Pirates on the other hand are heart-broken and can be dangerous. Monu, Sachin, Prashanth Rai are in form, hence scoring off raids is not a problem. Their defence is also in place though a bit inconsistent.

The only issue is that they seem to be slightly tentative in the first 10-15 minutes of the game though their engines start running full throttle later on.

A tough, entertaining match awaits us.
