They have all the ingredients to become a champion team this season. The Paltan was a bit slow to take off, but post the return of Fazel Attrachali the Paltan has become unbeatable. They have a wonderful mix of young aggressive raiders along with in-form defenders. 

Aslam Inamdar and Mohit Goyat form the crux of their raiding department while Neeraj Narwal has been the perfect sidekick. All of them have earned well in most of the games which has helped the Puneri Paltan shrug off any pressure from their opponents.

Captain Fazel has been impressive as expected while the other defenders have excelled under his leadership. Defender Sombir has been unbeatable while Abhinesh Nadarajan performed beyond expectations against the UP Yodha. Sanket Sawant and all-rounder Nabibaksh provide another dimension to the Paltan defense.

The Tamil Thalaiva will be confident as they come into this game. They held the Bengal Warriors to a TIE and then beat arch-rivals Telegu Titans in the southern derby. Though they are placed 11th in the points table, their self-belief will help them take on the Puneri Paltan.

The youngsters in the Thalaiva squad have impressed everybody with their tenacity. Young raiders like Narender and Himanshu have been brilliant while Ajinkya Pawar has been a steady earner. Captain Sagar will be quite happy with their current performance after the bitter start for the Thalaiva this season.

Though the Tamil Thalaiva is desperately waiting for the return of Hi Flyer Pawan Sehrawat, they will keep fighting. Right corner Sagar was lethal in the last game earning 8 tackle points. He was quick with his attacks, especially the double thigh holds. This allowed other defenders to score as well. Ajinkya Pawar scored a Super 10 in this encounter against the Telegu Titans.
