With every match, the defending champions are raising the bar. Jaipur Pink Panthers thrashed the UP Yodha in their last match as they scored 67 team points. They won the match by a margin of 37 points. One would assume that with the qualification secured, the Pink Panthers will take it easy and try out new players. Instead Arjun Dehwal scored a double Super 10 and the Jaipur defense looted the Yodha in the absence of Pardeep Narwal. 

On the other hand, the Telegu Titans are going through the formalities for playing all their league matches as they have been eliminated. With just 2 victories in the season, the Titans went through a similar journey as last year. Pawan Sehrawat is still their one many army but the Telegu Titans haven’t got their act together. They gave a tough fight to the Patna Pirates in the last match. The Titans almost scripted an upset as they lost by just 2 points. Telugu Titans Preview

The Telegu Titans look totally shredded after playing 20 matches in this season. They have managed to win just 2 matches which has totally disappointed their fans. Still the Telegu fans continue to cheer their team. The Titans travel to Panchkula as they get ready to take on the defending champions in the final leg of the league stage. Telegu Titans lost to the Patna Pirates in their last match. This was a spirited performance by the Titans as they came close to defeating the former champions. Captain Pawan Sehrawat was the only one who put up a fight as he scored 16 raid points. Fresh from receiving the Arjuna Award, Pawan was on top of this game. But as usual, his team-mates could not give him enough support. 

Left corner Ankit did score a Hi 5 but the intensity as well as the knock-out punch was missing. The Titans led by 2 points in the first half. But they conceded 2 all-outs in the match to miss out on a golden opportunity to score their third victory of the season. The Telegu Titans are out of the next round and they will sincerely hope that they end the season on a winning note.

Apart from Pawan Sehrawat, the Titans have used the services of young raiders like Robin Chaudhary and Praful Zaware. Telegu Titans lost to the defending champions by just 3 points when they met for the first time this season. This proves that if the Titans can apply themselves, they can pull off an upset. The defending champions have already qualified for the next round. But they seem to play every match as their last one. Jaipur created history as they defeated the UP Yodha by 37 points in their last match. It was mayhem as the Pink Panthers looted the Yodha. Arjun Deshwal scored 20 raid points while defenders Sunil Kumar and Ankush earned a Hi 5 each. The Pink Panthers scored 44 team points in the second half and inflicted 4 all-outs in the last 20 minutes. The cyclone of raids resulted in the UP Yodha getting all-out every 5 minutes in the second half. This victory will give the Pink Panthers the edge over other teams as they enter the next round.

They have 3 out of their last 5 outings which proves that they have a settled combination. MVP of season 9, Arjun Deshwal continues to trouble his opponents with his agility and creativity. Arjun has scored 233 raid points in 180 successful raids which includes 14 Super 10’s. Veteran raider Ajith and Bhavani Rajput have given decent support to Arjun Deshwal.  Whenever this trio has resonated, the Pink Panthers have won. Hence it will be crucial for the trio to maintain their form. Unfortunately, Jaipur’s weak line may be their raiding if it fails on a rare occasion. But till then it will be smooth sailing for them.  Defenders Ankush and Iranian Reza Mirbagheri have been precise in the last couple of matches.  Captain Sunil and right corner Sahul Kumar have been lukewarm, but they can strike back anytime. The Pink Panthers need to be prepared with an alternative plan of action if in case someone fails to perform. 

The Pink Panthers also need to be a bit aggressive in inflicting all-outs. They have inflicted just 30 all-outs in 20 matches. If they can improve this hunting, they can win matches with better margins.

Jaipur Pink Panthers will be relentless as Arjun Deshwal will be aggressive from the first raid. Jaipur will try and inflict maximum all-outs as they did against the UP Yodha in their last match. Left corner Ankush will target the Telegu support raiders while captain Sunil Kumar and Reza Mirbhageri will try and trap Pawan Sehrawat. The Titans will give a tough fight but they will lose intensity in the second half. But this will not be an easy outing for the Jaipur Pink Panthers.
