This match will test the UP Yodha not just physically but mentally too. They will be playing their second game in 2 days as they take on the Telegu Titans. UP are fresh after beating the Haryana Steelers and this win helped them jump from the 10th to the 5th spot in the points table.

The Telegu Titans are still struggling though they have displayed signs of a fight back. They have won just 1 match out of their 12 and are placed last in the points table. They will have a  tough time playing the UP Yodha. Fortunately for the Titans, Siddharth Jadhav has started to fire in the last few games. Though their defense has not been at its best, Vishal Bharadwaj and Parvesh Bhaiswal have been lethal but inconsistent.

The UP Yodha has developed a deadly trio of raiders in the form of Pareep, Surender Gill, and Rohit Tomar. This was the combo they were waiting to blossom. The Yodha defense too has done well in the last few games except for Captain Nitesh who is still struggling to find his form.

There seems to be no light at the end of the tunnel for the Telegu Titans. They have occupied the last bench in the points table and have settled there. Their only moment of glory in this season was when they beat the Patna Pirates. But off late, the Telegu Titans have started showing some sting. Though this may not be enough to win games, it brings some pride to their fans.

They lost to the Tamil Thalaiva and then to Dabang Delhi. But in both games, they fought hard in the first half before losing steam in the second. Star raider Siddharth Jadhav is back to his regular earnings. He has scored 28 raid points in the last 2 games. Support raider Abhisekh Singh has not earned as per his reputation. The Telegu Titans were expecting the pair of Siddharth and Abhishek to get them back to winning ways. Both had formed a deadly pair for U Mumba a few seasons back.

Left corner Vishal Bharadwaj has suddenly found his golden touch. He scored 8 points against Dabang Delhi which was his first High 5 of the tournament. But otherwise, the Telegu Titan defense has been brittle. They have not been able to operate and hunt as a pack. Defender Ankit has also been brutal with his tackles. Captain Surjeet and Parvesh Bhaiswal have been highly inconsistent throughout the season.

The Titans have put in just 154 successful team raids out of their total 499.

They have been able to execute just 86 successful team tackles in 12 games.

But the Titans will also be happy with the fact that they have executed 17 Super tackles which is the highest by any team.

Unfortunately, they have also conceded the highest number of team points as well as all-outs. 

They take on the UP Yodha which is back with a bang. The Yodha will be fresh after beating the Haryana Steelers in their last game. Titans will hope to exploit the fact that Yodha will be playing their second match in 2 days.

U.P. Yoddha Preview

The UP Yodha has made a grand comeback as it beat the Haryana Steelers convincingly in their last game. They were placed 10th in the points table and with this win, the Yodha jumped directly to the 5th spot. This will be one of the most inspirational wins for the UP Yodha this season.

The trio of Pardeep Narwal, Surinder Gill, and Rohit Tomar has proved to be a blessing in disguise for them. Rohit Tomar has been deadly with his raids but deadlier with his lethal ankle holds. 

The UP Yodha was forced to settle for a TIE in an earlier game with the Bengal Warriors. The Yodha pressed the panic button in the second half of that game and lost the advantage. This was a match they should have won. Fortunately better sense prevailed as the Yodha managed to convincingly beat the Haryana Steelers in the next game. 

Though there are a few chinks in the armor, the Yodha will be content with their progress. UP Yodha was leading by 8 points at halftime against the Steelers. Suddenly they lost direction and the Steelers overtook them by a point. Fortunately, Super raids by Surender Gill and Pardeep Narwal saw them past the finish line.

The UP Yodha has improved a lot in the last few games. They have executed 192 successful team raids out of their total 453 team raids.

They have managed to put in 98 successful team tackles in 12 matches. The Yodha needs to improve on this number if they want to continue their upward journey.

Their deadly raiders have brought them 10 Super raids this season. 

But they have conceded 16 all-outs while inflicting just 17.

The UP Yodha will be happy to take on the struggling Telegu Titans in their next game. They will hope to win this in style further bolstering their position in the points table. But the Yodha has to be careful as fatigue may set in because they will be playing their second match in 2 days.

Winning Prediction

This is a face-off between a rejuvenated UP Yodha and a struggling Telegu Titans. 

The Titans have no option apart from working as a team and hoping to win a game or two. Raider Abhishek will struggle while Siddhart Jadhav will score another Super 10. Captain Surjeet will be deadly in the first half. Iranian Mohsen Magsoudlou will play an important part for the Titans.

The UP Yodha will once again depend on Pardeep Narwal and Surender Gill. Surender will score a Super 10 as well as a Super raid. Pardeep will trouble the Telegu defense throughout the game. Defender Ashu Singh and left corner Sumit will hunt down the Titan raiders but Captain Nitesh may give away points due to unforced errors.

It will be a mammoth task for the Titans to beat the in-form UP Yodha.
