U Mumba did not lose to the Bulls in season 8, while in season 9 they shared the honors in 2 matches. This match is the best opportunity for U Mumba to decimate the out of form Bengaluru Bulls and gain crucial points. Their raiders are looking impressive while their defense has become their strength. Captain Surender Singh needs to be more precise and consistent. U Mumba has also perfected the art of hit and run. The Bengaluru Bulls have been through a disastrous season. They are totally out of sync and out of ideas. Former champions are placed 8th in the points table after playing 10 matches. They have been able to win just 4 matches this season. Most of their time is utilized in trying out different players as most of their playing 7 is out of form. The raiding has been inconsistent while their defenders have been slippery. The Bulls have an efficiency of just about 33% in team raids while their success rate in team tackles is about 43%. One can still say that their defense has been a face saver. But their biggest concern has been their raiding.

Vikash Kandola was drafted in the side post the auctions. But he has been out of form. Vikash has scored just less than 50 raid points in 10 matches. Raider Bharat Hooda has been operating like a one man army. He has earned 79 raid points in 10 matches. But without much support from other raiders, his efforts have gone down the drain. Bengaluru has tried to use Neeraj Narwal as their third raider without much success. They do not have too many raiders in their squad, hence they can’t experiment with too many players. Their fans would be disappointed by their rigidity in not changing their raiding strategy. The Bulls had to work overtime to beat the Tamil Thalaiva in their last match. They got lucky as the Thalaiva committed a tactical blunder in their last raid to gift the match to the Bulls by just 1 point. 

Fortunately, it was their defenders who saved the day for them. Prateek and captain Sourabh Nandal scored 4 tackle points each while veteran Surjeet earned 3 tackle points. Another major concern for the Bulls is that they have conceded 353 team points in 10 matches which is very high. They have also conceded 15 all-outs which keeps them in panic mode. Since their raiding has not been spicy, they are constantly changing the players through the match. This does not all them to build a stable combination. Vikahs Kandola and Neeraj Narwal may not contribute much. But the biggest challenge will be posed by the Mumba raiders. Hence this will be a difficult match for Bulls captain Sourabh Nandal and his band of defenders. Prateek and Surjeet will hunt successfully but their major concern is the left corner. Ran Singh is in the twilight of his career. Hence the Bulls may leak a lot of points.

U Mumba won’t be worried as Guman Singh and Zafardanesh will earn handsomely through their raiding. Mumba will take the lead by half-time. Their biggest asset is left corner Sombir and right corner Rinku. Both will sandwich the Bulls every time they come for their raids. This will be one way traffic as U Mumba will dominate the Bulls.
