UP Yoddhas end their four match unbeaten run with a 14 point loss against the Tamil Thalaivas in their last match. The Yoddhas were in the lead in the 1st half with the scoreline after the first 20 minutes at 17-12. But both their defense and offense were raffled by the Thalaivas which resulted in them scoring only 9 points in the second half compared to the Thalaivas 28 points, the most the Yoddhas conceded in a single half this season. 

Gagan Gowda with 8 raid points was the top performer, while Bhavani Rajput who is struggling with bit of a niggle couldn't have a major impact on the game. Bharat Hooda also looked out of sorts scoring 2 raid points and he was substituted by coach Jasvir Singh early in the game. Ashu Singh with a high 5 was the top defender on the night. Jaipur Pink Panthers after losing their last two matches finally put an end to their slump with a dominant 14 point win over the Puneri Paltan in their last outing. The Pink Panthers were off the blocks early in the game scoring 19 points in the 1st half to the Paltan's 11. Then in the second half they kept chipping away with the points on the defensive end and they also inflicted two all-outs with the game ending in 23-37 in favour of the Pink Panthers. 

The star of the game was Arjun Deshwal who scored 16 raid points (13 touch & 3 bonus), Neeraj Narwal scored 5 points (4 raid & 1 tackle), on the defensive end Ankush Rathee and Reza Mirbagheri picked up four tackle points each, troubling the Paltan raiders. The Panthers defense will once again get back  to work as they have a challenge of three tall and muscular raiders who can over power the defenders and get past the midline with their reach. The corner-cover combo of Ankush and Surjeet will the players in focus as most of the Yoddhas raiders raud on the left side.

While the UP Yoddhas are coming off a disappointing loss, they have the potential to bounce back against the Jaipur Pink Panthers.
