Half-a-dozen teams will battle it out across the West Indies in a bid to win the 13th edition of the Caribbean Premier League. The 2025 CPL appears to be a four-team race between Barbados Royals, Guyana Amazon Warriors, defending champions St. Lucia Kings and four-time winners Trinbago Knight Riders.
The unfancied teams will face-off in the 2025 CPL opener when St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots host Antigua & Barbuda Falcons at Warner Park, Basseterre.

Strength - All-rounder ability from Shakib Al Hasan, Fabian Allen, Justin Greaves, Odeon Smith, Shamar Springer and Imad Wasim.

GUYANA AMAZON WARRIORS

Strength - All-rounders Moeen Ali, Keemo Paul, Dwaine Pretorius and Romario Shepherd.
Weakness - Unpredictable, as they frequently field a combination of experienced players alongside eager youngsters who could buckle under pressure.
