The month of July was not kind to either West Indies or Pakistan who both lost T20I series but both have the opportunity to end the month on a high when they begin their three-match T20I series in Florida on Thursday.
The series will all be played at Central Broward Park, Florida before a three-match ODI series takes place at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy, San Fernando, Trinidad.
There is no time for Test cricket on this tour of Florida and Trinidad, with both sides returning to the World Test Championship in October.
Although neither team comes into this shortest international format in strong form, there are plenty of individuals with good recent records and there will be opportunities for some smart cricket betting for the experts out there.
West Indies - July so far
It is fair to say that July has been a month which West Indies, their players, supporters and board would like to see the back of as soon as possible.
Despite being competitive at many times during their home Test and T20I series with Australia, the 'Men in Maroon' could find no way of turning strong positions into victories.

Will West Indies Bounceback Against Pakistan?
The data suggests not! West Indies have now lost eight of their last nine completed T20I fixtures and were beaten in all three of their last head to heads in this format against Pakistan in 2021.
How Have Pakistan Been Getting On?
Pakistan's last six international fixtures have all been T20Is but although they won their home series at a canter 3-0, they returned home from three games in Bangladesh earlier this month with a 2-1 series loss!
Overall, the scoreline was 4-2 to Pakistan and they will also take the positive of winning the final T20I in Mirpur by 74 runs with Sahibzada Farhan top scoring with 63 runs from 41 balls last Thursday.
Farhan is one of two wicket-keepers on this tour with the side led by Salman Agha. There is also the welcome return of left-arm strike bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi.
