Sydney Sixers - the two-time champions of WBBL have completed their squad by signing Australia’s Caoime Bray. The contract is for three years and Bray will be seen wearing Sydney Sixers’ jersey in WBBL 10.
The 15-year-old is considered one of the brightest young talents in Australia and her participation will open more doors for her in Australian cricket. She might not play WBBL fixtures more frequently in 2024 but her training for the future challenges will begin with the Sixers.
Bray was born and raised in Denmark and she became part of the cricket clubs at the very young age of 8. She appeared for Denman Junior Cricket Club’s Under 11 side in 2017 when she was 8.
At the age of 14, Bray scored 955 runs in the NSW Under 18 Brewer Shield and came under the radar of the Sydney Sixers scouting team. She became part of Australian cricket when Bray was selected for the U-19 team for the tri-series in Brisbane in October 2024.
