CSK Recruits Shine in Ranji Trophy With Match-Winning Spells Ahead of IPL 2025

Chennai Super Kings players have come out on top with their performance in Indian Domestic cricket. In the ongoing Ranji Trophy season, two of the CSK players - Mukesh Choudhary and Anshul Kamboj- have performed exceptionally well. They are carrying the right momentum before the beginning of IPL 2025 and hence it is good news for the team management.
Mukesh Choudhary, who plays for Maharashtra in the Ranji Trophy, came out on top with his pace attack in the group-stage fixture against Baroda. He picked up a 5-wicket haul in the 2nd inning and helped Maharashtra to score a comfortable win.

In the first inning, Mukesh Choudhary scalped 3 wickets in 11 overs at an economy of 5.18. However, he came out as a strong force in the 2nd inning and scaled 5 wickets in 13 overs at an economy of 5.85.

In the 2nd inning, Shivalik Sharma, Vishnu Solanki, Mitesh Patel, Mahesh Pithiya, and Bhargav Bhatt from Maharashtra were the targets of Mukesh and he successfully got rid of them at the right time.
Mukesh Choudhary was hand-picked by Chennai Super Kings management in 2022 and since then he has been associated with the team. He made his debut in the Ranji Trophy for Maharashtra in the 2017-18 season.

Anshul Kamboj - The Haryana Pacer
Anshul Kamboj is a gifted pacer who plays for Haryana in the Ranji Trophy. It was against Bengal that Anshul dominated the match and completely decimated the opposition's batting unit.
In the first inning, he contributed with a single wicket in 11 overs at an economy of 4.27. However, the 2nd inning was a gem and Anshul picked up 4 wickets in 9.4 overs at an economy of 3.62.

In the 2nd inning, Anshul picked up wickets of Writtick Chatterjee, Rohit Kumar, Mohammed Kaif, and Mukesh Kumar and allowed Haryana to dominate the game against Bengal.
Anshul Kamboj is a much more experienced player as he has already made his debut in IPL while playing for Mumbai Indians. He was signed by Mumbai Indians in 2024 and was seen in action during the same season. However, the player was released by the franchise and now he is part of the Chennai Super Kings squad.
