Duleep Trophy 2024 - BCCI Announces New Squads for the Second Round

The second round of Duleep Trophy 2024 is set to begin from 12th September. India A will face India D at Rural Development Trust Stadium and India B will face India C at the ACA ADCA Ground, Anantapur.
BCCI has made some major changes in the squads. The changes were made due to the upcoming Bangladesh Test Series. Few senior players from all four teams won’t be part of the tournament.
Shubman Gill, KL Rahul, Kuldeep Yadav, Dhruv Jurel, and Akash Deep are on national duty and hence their replacements have been appointed in the respective teams.
For India A, Mayank Agarwal will be the leading man. Pratham Singh, Akshay Wadkar, SK Rasheed, Shams Mulani, and Aaqib Khan are the new names in the team. Mayank Agarwal will be leading the team with some talented players like Riyan Parag, Tilak Varma, Shivam Dube, and pacers Prasidh Krishna and Avesh Khan.
For India B, the T20 maestro of team India Rinku Singh has been brought in. With Rinku, Suyash Prabhudessai has also been named in the squad. The duo will replace Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rishabh Pant.
Himanshu Mantri is also added to the India B squad and that will give the team a major boost in the batting depth. Sarfaraz Khan is part of the national side but he will also play in the 2nd round of the Duleep Trophy 2024. Abhimanyu Easwaran will be the leading man for India B.
From India D, Axar Patel has departed to join the national team. He will be replaced by Nishant Sindhu. Tushar Deshpande is currently in the injury room and hence he will be replaced by Vidwath Kaverappa.
There are no changes in the India C squad. They have all their players intact and that might work in favour of the team.
