England's upcoming tour of Pakistan, set to take place from October 7 to 28, has seen a slight adjustment in its schedule. The second Test, originally scheduled for Karachi's National Stadium from October 15-19, has now been moved to the Multan Cricket Stadium. The dates remain unchanged.
This shift means Multan will now host two Tests, starting with the first match from October 7. The third and final Test will be held in Rawalpindi as planned, from October 24-28. Make sure you check out the best cricket betting tips for this three match test series.
The venue change comes as Karachi’s National Stadium undergoes renovations in preparation for the ICC Champions Trophy next year, which will also feature matches at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium and Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. Both the England and Pakistan teams are set to arrive in Multan on October 2 to begin preparations for the series.
"While there have been minor adjustments, we are committed to ensuring fans enjoy a memorable tour. We look forward to an exciting and competitive Test series while showcasing Pakistan’s renowned hospitality," said Usman Wahla, PCB Director of International Cricket.
