ICC Finalizes the Venue and Date for World Test Championship 2024-25 Final
The World Test Championship 2023-25 final is scheduled to take place for the first time at Lords next year. ICC has finally revealed the dates and venue and has confirmed one of the oldest cricket venues to host the prestigious event.
The WTC 2023-25 final match will take place from 11th June to 15th June and 16th June will be kept as a reserve day in case of any interruptions.
The ongoing cycle of the World Test Championship is the third cycle. The first final was won by New Zealand at the Southampton and the 2nd fixture was won by Australia at the Oval. In both final matches, India was their opposition but they missed out on lifting the trophy.
The WTC 2023-25 final fixture will take place between the two top sides of the WTC Point table. As of now, India is the leading giant in the point table with 74 points in total.
