The third season of ILT20 is going on and it is for the third consecutive time that Sharjah Warriorz have failed to make an impact in the league. In the last 2 seasons of ILT20, Sharjah Warriorz came out as a weaker team and for the third season, they are coming out as a weaker team again.
In ILT20 2025, Sharjah Warriorz currently stands at the 5th spot in the point table with 2 wins and 3 losses. Their net run rate is -1.320. In the previous edition of the league, the Warriorz finished at the bottom of the point table with 4 wins and 6 losses and their net run rate was -1.608.

ILT20 2025 - Weakness of Sharjah Warriorz
Poor Bowling Performance
One of the biggest aspects of winning matches in the ILT20 cricket league is to have a strong bowling unit. Sharjah Warriorz are lacking big time in this aspect and their bowlers have come out to be inconsistent and below-average performers.
Tim Southee is unable to handle the pressure of leading a team and picking up wickets at the same. He is the leading wicket-taker for the team currently but that is not enough for the Warriorz to succeed.
The rest of the bowling includes Adam Milne, Harmeet Singh, Karim Janat and Dilshan Madushanka. All of these names have failed to perform at their best in the ongoing season.
England’s spin maestro Adil Rashid has left the team due to his commitment towards national duty. His absence has also disturbed the combination of the team.

Inconsistent Batting Unit
Sharjah Warriorz has also struggled with their batting lineup. There is no stability and once the batting unit comes under pressure, they struggle to score runs at crucial points.
Sharjah Warriorz is dependent on Johnson Charles and Avishka Fernando to score the majority of the runs. However, Avishka Fernando is a late arrival in the team and he has failed to make an impact in the last fixture.
Experienced batters like Tom Kohler-Cadmore and Jason Roy have been a complete failure for the team. The time has come for the team management to have tough communication with the rest of the batting unit to get positive results in the remaining matches.

ILT20 2025 - Can Sharjah Warriorz Qualify for the Playoffs?
Sharjah Warriorz has failed to qualify for the ILT20 playoffs in the last 2 seasons. Looking at their condition in the ongoing season, things still look tough for the Warriorz. They are still left with 5 fixtures in the league and a winning streak might help them to change things.
Sharjah Warriorz recently lost a match against Desert Vipers. It was a low-scoring fixture where the low team morale was clearly visible in the Warriorz. If things go on with the same rhythm, Sharjah Warriorz might fail to qualify for the playoffs.
