India vs New Zealand 2nd Test - Changes That Can be Expected in Playing XI

The India vs New Zealand Test series has begun and the first Test saw a comfortable victory for the visitors. With 2nd fixture on the horizon, the hosts need to bounce back and equalize the series and not allow the hosts an easy series win.
Team India had an unexpected outcome in the first Test with their batting unit falling short to even score 50 runs in the first inning. A poor performance from the batters in the first inning became the primary reason for their loss.
A start with a loss in the series will impact the team’s morale and the skipper, with the head coach, will have to take some tough calls. Rohit Sharma and his men might see some major changes in the lineup of the players and some new entries to the team.
The New Zealand bowling unit was at its best in the first fixture. They completely dominated the first inning and didn't allow the opposition to build partnerships. Tom Latham brought fresh air to the team and the Kiwis will be willing to continue the momentum.

India vs New Zealand 2nd Test - Expected Changes
1) Shubman Gill for 2nd Test
India’s top order showed a major void in the 1st inning and hence their middle order failed to handle the pressure to score runs. In a surprising move, Shubman Gill was not part of the 1st fixture and India missed him.
In the second Test, there is a high possibility that Shubman Gill might be selected to play and might come at number 3. Team India is sorted with Yashaswi Jaiswal and skipper Rohit Sharma as the opening partnership and hence the best place to come for Gill would be number 3.

2) KL Rahul vs Sarfaraz Khan
The consecutive failures of KL Rahul in the red-ball format have again ignited a debate to replace him in the middle-order. KL Rahul has not been in good form this year and he is struggling to score runs for the team.

Sarfaraz Khan was fabulous with his performance in the first Test. He scored his maiden century for team India in the red-ball format. His potential is undeniable and there is a probability that the team management might replace KL Rahul with Sarfaraz Khan.
