  • She broke Harmanpreet Kaur’s 17 balls record by achieving the mark in 70 balls.
  • Smriti chased 135 runs off 80 balls by hitting seven sixes and 12 fours.
  • Mandana hailed her opening game partner, Rawal who set a benchmark with her maiden ODI century in 100 balls. She extended her batting potential to pick 154 off 129.
  • Rawal and Mandhana completed their partnership at 233 runs for first wicket making them 3rd highest openers for India in ODIs.
  • Aggressive gameplay embarked at third over itself when Rawal strike three fours in Orla Prendergast’s over. Till sixth over, she was at 29 off 25 by hitting six fours.
  • Mandhana got over the strike by the seventh over when Christina Coulter Reily, an Ireland wicketkeeper was unable to get an outside edge. She was at 12 off 13 then post which she opened floodgates by hitting two sixes and a four in Seamer’s over.
  • Smriti Mandhana and Pratika Rawal managed to the first 100 in 13th over itself. Post this, Mandana’s dominance ruled the grounds.

Sayali and Sadhu Picked Bowling Front, Elevating the Victory

As Renuka Singh was at rest, both Sayali Satghare and Titas Sadhu played as opening bowlers and fetched a wicket each but also shelled 15 extras in initial seven overs.
