Injury Blow to Bangladesh: Shoriful Islam Out of First Test

The 1st Test between India and Bangladesh is scheduled to take place on 19th September. Before the beginning of the fixture, Bangladesh received an injury as Shoriful Islam had not yet recovered from his groin injury.

Shoriful Islam was injured in 1st Test between Pakistan and Bangladesh. It is because of the same reason he missed out on the 2nd Test between the two teams. However, the medical team has confirmed that the player has not yet fully recovered and will be missing out on the 1st Test against India.

He will be replaced by uncapped Jaker Ali for Bangladesh. Jaker Ali has not played the Test and ODI format for Bangladesh but he has made a strong presence in the T20 format.

Bangladesh is coming to India after a series win over Pakistan by 0-2. However, as per 1xBet, the odds are in favour of Team India for the 1st Test fixture.
