The IPL 2019 schedule for the first 2 weeks is now available, the opener will be between CSK vs RCB in Chennai on the 23rd March!
The schedule was released early on Tuesday the 19th of February, it lists the first 17 matches from the tournament. The announced games will take place in a period of 2 weeks, where 6 teams will play 4 games each: Bangalore and Delhi Capitals will be playing 5 games, and rest teams will have 2 home games, Delhi will host three games.
Seems that this might not be the final schedule as the dates of the games match with the elections in India, so dates and times might be subject to change!
The IPL organisational team is in close contact with local authorities to prepare a proper schedule for the tournament, one that would not collide with election dates!
