During the mega auctions, some major changes have taken every squad which has created more thrill for the upcoming season. When it comes to T20 cricket, the bowlers play an important role in order to help the team win a match and come out of tough situations.

1) Varun Chakravarthy - Kolkata Knight Riders

Kolkata Knight Riders will be the defending champions in IPL 2025. They won the title last and Varun Chakravarthy came out as the 2nd highest wicket-taker in the league. It is not only IPL, Varun Chakarvarthy has made his comeback for team India in style in the T20 format and he has come out as one of the most successful bowlers in foreign pitches. 2) Adam Zampa - Sunrisers Hyderabad

Australian players have always been very active in participating in the Indian Premier League since the beginning of the league in 2008. Adam Zampa, the spin star from the Aussie squad, will be making his return to the league after an absence of 4 years. Zampa missed the previous edition of the IPL in order to prepare for the T20 World Cup 2024. Sunrisers Hyderabad have signed Adam Zampa for INR 2.40 Crore and he will be available for the whole season.

3) Wanindu Hasaranga - Rajasthan Royals

Sri Lanka’s master spinner Wanindu Hasaranga was bought by Rajasthan Royals from the auction for INR 5.25 Crore. He missed out on the previous season due to an injury but Hasaranga is confirmed to make his comeback to the league with the Royals. He is the third-highest wicket-taker in T20 cricket across all cricket leagues and international cricket and that makes him dangerous for every opposition.

4) Jasprit Bumrah - Mumbai Indians

India’s lead pacer Jasprit Bumrah is on the roll in every format of cricket. Without a doubt, Jasprit Bumrah is the most dangerous pacer in the world and his accuracy is his strength. Bumrah is known for his yorkers during the death overs and his ability to stun the batsmen with his capability to swing the ball both ways. In IPL 2024, Bumrah was the 3rd highest wicket-taker.
 

5) Arshdeep Singh - Punjab Kings

When it comes to the T20 format, Arshdeep Singh has become India’s T20 expert pacer in recent times. He is the 2nd highest wicket-taker in the world in T20 international format and has strong credentials in the IPL as well. Punjab Kings retained him during the mega auction using RTM rule and he will be expected to lead the bowling attack of the team.
 

6) Bhuvneshwar Kumar - Royal Challengers Bangalore

Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been through a rough patch in recent times. He has been dropped from the national team because of a major dip in his performance and has failed to make an impact in IPL as well. However, Royal Challengers Bangalore have signed him and after 15 years it is a homecoming for the pacer. It is a new start and that might bring in some new energy for India’s swing maestro.
