IPL 2025: Rajasthan Royals Confirm Retention of Sanju Samson

IPL 2025 mega auctions are coming closer with every day passing by. All the franchises are in the process of finalising their list of retained players and according to the rule, they need to declare the list before 31st October.

Rajasthan Royals have recently come up with news regarding the list of their retained players. Sanju Samson, Rajasthan Royals skipper, has become the first players to get retained by the franchise.

The franchise posted on their social media and made it official that Sanju Samson will be continuing with the franchise. They posted a picture of Sanju Samson with Rahul Dravid, Kumar Sangakkara and other members of coaching staff and team management.

It clearly shows that Sanju Samson is part of the team’s retention and future planning and hence it proves that the Royals skipper will be part of the franchise. His retention is not official yet but the social media shows the confirmation.

Rajasthan Royals has not confirmed any other players in their retention list. However, speculations are that the team management will have Jos Buttler and Riyan Parag as the other two retained players on the list.

Riyan Parag’s performance in the previous season of IPL earned him his maiden call for Team India. It is now time for the player to show loyalty towards the Rajasthan Royals management.

As for Sanju Samson is concerned, he is one of the most loyal and consistent performers for the team and his retention will give the team a major advantage in the league.
