2) Trent Boult - Mumbai Indians

Mumbai Indians went all in for Trent Boult in the IPL 2025 mega auctions and bought him for a price of INR 12.50 Crore. He and Jasprit Bumrah will be leading the pace attack for Mumbai in IPL 2025. Trent Boult won’t be under pressure because of his experience and also because of the presence of Bumrah by the side. The New Zealand pacer will be most effective with the new ball and can decimate the top order of any opposition.

3) Matheesha Pathirana - Chennai Super Kings

Sri Lanka's ace pacer Matheesha Pathirana became part of IPL in 2022 with Chennai Super Kings and since then he has been a loyal and consistent player for the team. It is for the same reason, Matheesha Pathirana was retained by the team management before the mega auctions. He witnessed an injury in the previous edition of the league and failed to play more than 6 matches. 4) Mitchell Starc - Delhi Capitals

Mitchell Starc was a costly purchase for Kolkata Knight Riders during IPL 2024. The bowler also failed to perform at the league stage but came out on top in the playoffs and in the final fixture. However, the Aussie pacer is known for his accuracy and aggression and can be a profitable purchase for Delhi Capitals this year.
