It is that time of the year again! Eight IPL franchises are gearing up for IPL 2019. After the trading window closure, the player auctions happened on 18th Dec 2018. The franchises spent a total of INR 1.068 Billion in the auctions to settle on the desired team combination. The settled teams made a few changes in the trading window and thus had a limited budget for the auctions while the ones at the bottom of the table traded and auctioned heavily in search of a rejig in the team setup. It will be an exciting time for cricket betting on the Indian Premier League!

The 2018 season saw the return of the two major IPL franchises Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Rajasthan Royals (RR). CSK went all the way to secure their third IPL title in 9 appearances defeating Sunrisers Hyderabad in the finals. Kane Williamson and Andrew Tye were the Orange and Purple cap holders respectively. Sunil Narine bagged the Most Valuable Player award whereas Rishabh Pant was the Emerging Player of the last season.

Although this year’s IPL is clashing with General Elections in India due to happen in April-May, the BCCI announced that IPL-2019 will happen entirely in India starting 23rd March 2019, but this event may cause a change of venues which will affect the IPL betting predictions. Being the defending champions Chennai will get to host the tournament opener and the Final scheduled to happen between 12 to 15 May.

The ODI World Cup 2019 is starting in a fortnight after the IPL and a lot of international captains, especially Faf du Plessis, have raised concerns over managing the workload of the bowlers. We may see a lot of international players resting around the end of the season to prepare for the world cup.

Check out our preview of each team to help you with your IPL cricket Betting!

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) – IPL Prediction

  • Last Year Result: Winners
  • Key Players: MS Dhoni, Shane Watson, Suresh Raina, Dwayne Bravo, Ravindra Jadeja
  • Players in: Ruturaj Gaikwad, Mohit Sharma
  • Players out: Mark Wood, Kanishk Seth, Kshitiz Sharma
  • Final playing 11: MS Dhoni (C&Wk), Faf du Plessis, Shane Watson, Kedar Jadhav, Suresh Raina, Dwayne Bravo, Ravindra Jadeja, Deepak Chahar, Lungi Ngidi, Mohit Sharma, Harbhajan Singh.

Expert prediction: Considering the strong line-up, betting on CSK is a very good choice! Our expert’s prediction is CSK to reach Finals!

Chennai Super Kings have played in 9 out of the 11 seasons so far in the IPL. They are the only team to reach the Semi-Final/Playoffs every single time they played. They have reached the Finals 7 out of the 9 attempts and have won the title 3 times. Under the coaching of Stephen Fleming and leadership of MS Dhoni, CSK has been by far the most successful IPL franchise so far. A lot of CSK’s success over the years can be attributed to their conscious efforts to sticking to the core team members as much as possible. Even after the two-year ban when their players were split into multiple teams, CSK ensured they maintain the core group under the captaincy of MS Dhoni during the team reformation. This attitude paid dividends as CSK managed to win the title in their comeback season last year when they were being taunted as the team of veteran players.

Trading lightly as a winning team should CSK just let go of three players and acquired two – Ruturaj Gaikwad and Mohit Sharma. The acquisition of Sharma is yet again an attempt to get the core team member back into the squad. A formula that the CSK are not letting go of. They were looking to get Jaydev Unadkat, last year’s costliest Indian player, into the team to for his ability to bowl the left arm cutters at the death. However, they could not win the bid against Rajasthan Royals who bought Unadkat back to their squad.

CSK have created a fortress at the MA Chidambaram stadium in Chennai. CSK rarely loses at home. In IPL 2018, CSK lost just one home game against Mumbai in the league stages. Overall, they lost just 5 games and never two in a row. They were ranked second after the league stages just behind SRH. CSK ended the season with a couple of wins in playoffs to clinch their third title.

CSK have the best winning percentage among all IPL teams at 61.56 and they have MS Dhoni as their captain who is the most successful IPL captain with about 60%-win rate while captaining Chennai and Pune. With MSD at the helm, CSK looks a very settled side and the one that looks to go the distance this season as well under the able coaching of Stephen Fleming. Betting on CSK throughout the tournament would be one of the safest bets.

Delhi Capitals (DC) – IPL Prediction

  • Last Year Result: Ranked 8th
  • Key Players: Shreyas Iyer(c), Rishabh Pant, Shikhar Dhawan, Trent Boult, Kagiso Rabada
  • Players in: Shikhar Dhawan, Hanuma Vihari, Colin Ingram, Ankush Bains, Jalaj Saxena, Axar Patel, Bandaru Ayyappa, Sherfane Rutherford, Ishant Sharma, Keemo Paul, Nathu Singh
  • Players out: Gautam Gambhir, Jason Roy, Gurkeerat Mann, Glenn Maxwell, Mohammad Shami, Dan Christian, Vijay Shankar, Abhishek Sharma, Shahbaz Nadeem, Sayan Ghosh, Liam Plunkett, Junior Dala, Naman Ojha
  • Final playing 11: Shreyas Iyer(c), Shikhar Dhawan, Prithvi Shaw, Colin Munro, Hanuma Vihari, Rishabh Pant(wk), Chris Morris, Amit Mishra, Kagiso Rabada, Avesh Khan, Trent Boult.

Expert prediction: DC will look to change they awful IPL record, betting on their team would be a bit of long shot. Our expert’s prediction is DC to be ranked 7th on this year’s tournament.

Delhi Daredevils, as they were known up until this season, has changed the name of the franchise to Delhi Capital in December 2018 owing to a 50% stake transfer to JSW Group. Delhi capitals have played in all the 11 seasons of the IPL but are yet to reach the Finals. They started the IPL with a couple of Semi-Final appearances in opening two seasons in 2008 and 2009 but have been lackluster thereafter. Their last playoff appearance came in 2012 but since then they have mostly been at the bottom of the table. In that sense, Delhi Capitals can be termed as one of the worst IPL franchise along with KXIP.

As can be expected from a bottom team, Delhi Capitals released as many as 13 players in the trading window but made one of their most important acquisition in Shikhar Dhawan. In IPL auctions, Delhi with a purse of INR 25.50 Crore bought the likes of Hanuma Vihari, Colin Ingram, Sherfane Rutherford, and Ishant Sharma. In all Delhi bought 10 players for their squad.

In the last IPL, Delhi lost matches in heaps in between the 5 wins they could muster out of a total 14 league matches. The 4 out of the 5 wins came at home. With just 10 points to their name, DD was at the bottom of the points table in 2018. Rishabh Pant’s emergence was a key takeaway for Delhi as he blasted his way to 684 runs at an average around 52 and a strike of about 175. He was rightly named the emerging player of the 2018 season. Trent Boult and Amit Mishra, who is their all-time top wicket-taker, topped the charts in bowling with 18 and 12 wickets in the season respectively.

Despite Shikhar’s presence Delhi Capitals will be led by Shreyas Iyer who took the reins from Gautam Gambhir last season. With Mishra, Rabada and Boult Delhi seem to have a good bowling attack. In batting Dhawan’s presence is huge at the top of the order with Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh pant providing impetus in the middle order. However, with so many new players the team would need some time to settle down and find their winning combination as Delhi looks to make amends to an awful IPL record. Considering their past history in the tournament, betting on DC would be more for fun than profit.

Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) – IPL Prediction

  • Last Year Result: Ranked 7th
  • Key Players: R Ashwin, KL Rahul, Chris Gayle, Sam Curran, David Miller
  • Players in: Mandeep Singh, Sarfaraz Khan, Prabhsimran Singh, Nicholas Pooran, Agnivesh Ayachi, Varun Chakravarthy, Darshan Nalkande, Harpreet Brar, Moises Henriques, Sam Curran, M Ashwin, Arshdeep Singh, Hardus Viljoen, Mohammed Shami
  • Players out: Marcus Stoinis, Axar Patel, Aaron Finch, Mohit Sharma, Barinder Sran, Yuvraj Singh, Ben Dwarshuis, Manoj Tiwary, Akshdeep Nath, Pardeep Sahu, Mayank Dagar, Manzoor Dar
  • Final playing 11: R Ashwin(c), KL Rahul, Mayank Agarwal, Chris Gayle, David Miller, Prabhsimran Singh(wk), Varun Chakravarthy, Sam Curran, Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Andrew Tye, Arshdeep Singh.

Expert Prediction: Betting on KXIP might not prove to be the best winning bet you can place. Our prediction is KXIP to hit the 8th position this season.

Kings XI Punjab has shown promise over the years in IPL but they do not have the stats to show for it. In total 11 IPL appearances, except for the inaugural season in 2008 when they went as far as Semi-Final, and the one six years later in 2014 when they reached finals, KXIP have consistently been at the bottom of the points table in rest of the 9 IPL seasons.

After the dismal performance in IPL 2018, KXIP let go of Yuvraj Singh in the trading window. Australian all-rounder Marcus Stoinis was released as well along with notably Mohit Sharma, Barindar Sran and Manoj Tiwary. In all, KXIP let go of 11 players from their IPL 2018 squad and acquired Mandeep Singh instead to strengthen the top order. In IPL auctions, with INR 36.20 Crore in the kitty, they bought as many as 14 players. Two of the costliest buys were mystery spinner Varun Chakravarthy for INR 8.40 crore, and England all-rounder Sam Curran for INR 7.20 crore. Other notable additions to the squad were Moises Henriques, M Ashwin, and Mohammed Shami.

In the last IPL, KXIP started with a bang winning 5 of the first 6 matches. However, in the next 8 matches, they could manage only one win. With a total of 12 points in 6 wins, KXIP were second from the last in the points table with only DD below them at 10 points. The initial surge of wins was mainly due to the phenomenal form of KL Rahul, who scores 659 runs in the season at an average of about 55 and strike rate above 150, and Andrew Tye, the purple cap holder, who ended up taking 24 wickets in the season. Losing a few games did not help their cause.

R Ashwin will lead KXIP in the IPL season 2019. He will be well supported by their new coach Mike Hesson who is a former New Zealand coach. KL Rahul, who scored about 30% of the team’s runs through the 2018 season, would be key at the top again along with T20 superstar Chris Gayle. R Ashwin, Andrew Tye, and Sam Curran will add variety to the bowling attack. KXIP would hope for a better season this time under the circumstances. Betting on KXIP team might get you some good profits, but their inconsistency might play trick for your bets!

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) – IPL Prediction

  • Last Year Result: Playoffs - Ranked 3rd
  • Key Players: Dinesh Karthik, Sunil Narine, Shubman Gill, Andre Russell, Kuldeep Yadav
  • Players in: Nikhil Naik, Joe Denly, Shrikant Mundhe, Carlos Brathwaite, Prithvi Raj, Harry Gurney, Anrich Nortje, Lockie Ferguson
  • Players out: Mitchell Starc, Mitchell Johnson, Tom Curran, Cameron Delport, Javon Searles, Ishank Jaggi, Apoorv Wankhade, Vinay Kumar
  • Final playing 11: Dinesh Karthik (c&wk), Sunil Narine, Robin Uthappa, Shubman Gill, Nitish Rana, Andre Russell, Carlos Brathwaite, Kuldeep Yadav, Kamlesh Nagarkoti, Shivam Mavi, Lockie Ferguson

Expert prediction: Betting on KKR is a good choice! Our expert’s prediction is KKR to reach Finals!

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have always had so many match-winners throughout the 11 seasons of IPL. However, their inability to keep the core of the squads intact has resulted in underperformance in the IPL. KKR is one of the 5 teams that have played in all the IPL seasons. They reached the finals twice, in 2012 and 2014, and won the title. After from these two instances KKR have reached playoffs 4 times. At 6, they have the third-best playoff/knockout appearances behind CSK (9) and Mumbai Indians (7). Gautam Gambhir is their leading run scorer and Sunil Narine their leading wicket-taker. Gambhir it out of the IPL due to retirement.

In the trading window, KKR let go of 8 players including the likes of Mitchell Starc, Mitchell Johnson and Vinay Kumar. As the top teams look to do KKR retained 13 core players in the team. In auctions, KKR got a big player in Carlos Brathwaite at INR 5 Crore. Joe Denly, the English opener, and Lockie Ferguson, the New Zealand pacer, will also be a part of the 2019 season for KKR.

In the last IPL, after losing 4 of the first 7 matches KKR bounced back winning 5 of the next 7 matches including last 3 consecutive league match wins. With 16 points in 8 wins in 14 matches, KKR secured the third spot behind SRH and CSK at the end of the league stage. In the eliminator, they defeated Rajasthan Royals comprehensively at home by 25 runs. However, KKR could not topple SRH in the second qualifier bringing an end to their season. Sunil Narine was a surprise package at the top of the order 3rd highest runs for KKR behind only Dinesh Karthik and Chris Lynn. Narine also starred with the ball along with Kuldeep Yadav, with each of them claiming 17 wickets.

Dinesh Karthik who has had a good stint with the national team in the last one year will lead KKR under the guidance of the coach Jacques Kallis. The Knight Riders will hope to stand up to the expectation and would be keen to go all the way this season. Betting on KKR would be a good choice, they look a stable team and ready for the win!

Mumbai Indians (MI) – IPL Prediction

  • Last Year Result: Ranked 5th
  • Key Players: Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah, Lasith Mailnga
  • Players in: Quinton de Kock, Anmolpreet Singh, Yuvraj Singh, Pankaj Jaiswal, Rasikh Salam, Lasith Malinga, Barinder Sran
  • Players out: Mustafizur Rahman, Pat Cummins, Akila Dananjaya, JP Duminy, Saurabh Tiwary, Tajinder Singh, Mohsin Khan, Pradeep Sangwan, MD Nidheesh, Sharad Lumba
  • Final playing 11: Rohit Sharma(c), Evin Lewis, Quinton de Kock, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya, Ishan Kishan (wk), Mayank Markande, Jasprit Bumrah, Lasith Malinga, Jason Behrendorff

Expert prediction: Betting on MI at the beginning of the tournament might not generate profit, however, betting on MI during the middle of the tournament is a good choice! Our expert prediction is 3rd Place the Mumbai Indians!

Mumbai Indians have always been a team to beat in the IPLs. In the 11 seasons so far, they have reached knockouts/playoffs 7 times. Second only to Chennai Super Kings (9). In those 7 attempts, they have managed to lift the trophy 3 times - joint highest with CSK. Of the 4 appearances in the final, they have managed to win in 2013, 2015 and 2017 version of the IPL. Captain Rohit Sharma is their leading run-scorer whereas the leading wicket-taker is Lasith Malinga. Mumbai Indians are also one of those franchises that do not tinker with the core of the team much.

In the trading window, out of the 28-member squad Mumbai Indians retained 18 players letting go of 10. In a good trade, Mumbai Indians managed to acquire Quinten de Kock. Mustafizur Rehman from Bangladesh and South African JP Duminy were the notable ones to be released. In the auction with just INR 10.65 Crore in the kitty, Mumbai Indians got Yuvraj Singh for the base price of INR 2 Crore and Barindar Sran to support their fast bowling lineup. They have also got back Lasith Malinga into the squad – another core member of Mumbai Indians.

Mumbai Indians have always been slow starters. In the last season as well, they started with 6 losses in the first 8 games. They picked up the pace in the second half with 4 wins in 6 games. However, that did not prove enough to secure a place in the playoffs for Mumbai Indians. They needed a win against Delhi at Firoz Shah Kotla but they lost it by 11 runs thus ending their season at the fifth position. Surya Kumar Yadav and Evin Lewis were top scores for Mumbai Indians whereas Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah were top wicket-takers with 18 and 17 wickets respectively.

Mumbai Indians have got most of their core members in the team. Captain Rohit Sharma did not have a great season the last time, but he would be hoping for a confidence booster and injury free IPL before getting on the contingent for the World Cup. With Mahela Jayawardene as coach Mumbai Indians will look to rectify the mistakes of the last season to get their fourth title.

Rajasthan Royals (RR) – IPL Prediction

  • Last Year Result: Playoffs - Ranked 4th
  • Key Players: Ajinkya Rahane, Sanju Samson(wk), Ben Stokes, Jofra Archer, Jaydev Unadkat
  • Players in: Manan Vohra, Riyan Parag, Shashank Singh, Liam Livingstone, Ashton Turner, Shubham Ranjane, Jaydev Unadkat, Varun Aaron, Oshane Thomas
  • Players out: Anureet Singh, Ankit Sharma, Jatin Saxena, D'Arcy Short, Ben Laughlin
  • Final playing 11: Ajinkya Rahane(c), Rahul Tripathi, Manan Vohra,  Sanju Samson(wk), Jos Buttler, Ben Stokes, Jofra Archer, K Gowtham, Shreyas Gopal, Jaydev Unadkat, Oshane Thomas.

Expert Prediction: Betting on Rajasthan Royals would be for punters with solid nerve. It all depends on a few players to make it for the RR team, and our prediction is they will take 5th Place this year.

Rajasthan Royals were the Winners of the inaugural season of the IPL when Shane Warne was still playing and was the captain of the team. They have not been able to emulate that success again in 8 further attempts though. In 9 attempts Rajasthan Royals reached the knockout/playoff stages 4 times. After 2008 they had to endure a long lean patch until 2013 when they qualified for the playoffs. Just like CSK, Rajasthan Royals were banned from the IPL for 2016 and 2017 season. They made a comeback in the last season.

In the trading window, Rajasthan Royals released Jaydev Unadkat who was the costliest buy at INR 11.5 Crore in the last season. They released five more players including foreign players D'Arcy Short and Ben Laughlin. With these releases, RR had a kitty of INR 20.95 Crore before the IPL auction. In the auctions, in December 2018 they went for Jadev Unadkat again and bought him for INR 3.1 Crore less than the previous season at INR 8.4 Crore. Manan Vohra and Oshane Thomas were the other notable inclusions. In all, Rajasthan Royals bought 9 players in the auctions.

In the last season, which was their comeback season after a 2-year gap, Rajasthan Royals managed to form a team around Ajinkya Rahane that contained some of the earlier core players including Steven Smith. RR did not start the season well losing 6 of the first 9 games and were on the verge of being eliminated before the playoffs. However, 4 wins in last 5 games and some poor performances from other teams in contention, RR managed to be the fourth team to qualify for the playoffs with 14 points. Their luck ran out in the eliminator as KKR defeated them comprehensively to end a decent comeback season. Jos Buttler and Sanju Samson were the top performers with the bat whereas Jofra Archer impressed to 15 wickets in the season.

There is still a question mark on the availability of Steven Smith. He is a huge player and Rajasthan Royals would want him to be available as much as possible. With Ajinkya Rahane at the helm and with Paddy Upton as the coach, Rajasthan Royals would like to complete the unfinished business in the last season.

There is still a question mark on the availability of Steven Smith. He is a huge player and Rajasthan Royals would want him to be available as much as possible. Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) – IPL Prediction

  • Last Year Result Ranked 6th
  • Key Players Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, Shimron Hetmyer, Marcus Stoinis, Yuzvendra Chahal
  • Players in Marcus Stoinis, Devdutt Padikkal, Milind Kumar, Himmat Singh, Shimron Hetmyer, Heinrich Klaasen, Prayas Ray Barman, Akshdeep Nath, Gurkeerat Singh, Shivam Dube
  • Players out Quinton de Kock, Mandeep Singh, Brendon McCullum, Chris Woakes, Corey Anderson, Sarfraz Khan
  • Final playing 11: Virat Kohli(c), Parthiv Patel(wk), AB de Villiers, Shimron Hetmyer, Marcus Stoinis, Washington Sundar, Shivam Dube, Yuzvendra Chahal, Kulwant Khejroliya, Umesh Yadav, Nathan Coulter-Nile

Expert Prediction: With such strong payers in their line-up betting on RCB might prove to be the most winning bet you can place! Our prediction is a good chance for Final four for RCB!

How has a team as strong as Royal Challengers Bangalore never won an IPL title is one of the biggest unsolved puzzles in IPL history. They came close to doing it thrice in 2009, 2011 and then again in 2016 but were beaten by Deccan Chargers, Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad respectively. In the 11 IPL outings, RCB has reached the knockouts/playoffs 5 times – the maximum for any team yet to win a title. Their runners up tally of 3 is second only to CSK who have been runners up 4 times.

In the trading window, RCB released some of their key players in Quinton de Kock, Mandeep Singh, and Corey Anderson and acquired Marcus Stoinis in an attempt to increase the number of all-rounders in the team. In all RCB released 6 players that had them left with a kitty of INR 18.15 Crore to be used in the auctions. In the auctions, half of the kitty was consumed by the purchases of Shivam Dube (INR 5 Crore) and Shimron Hetmyer (INR 4.2 Crore). Heinrich Klaasen was bought as a backup wicketkeeper to Parthiv Patel. In Devdutt Padikkal RCB bought themselves an opener.

In the last season in the first 10 league games, they were virtually out of the tournament with 7 losses in 10 games. However, 3 consecutive wins gave them a glimmer of hope to reach the playoffs. However, loss in the last league game knocked RCB out of the competition finishing 6th in the points table tied at 12 points with Mumbai Indians and Kings XI Panjab. Almost all the RCB defeats were comprehensive. Captain Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers scored 42% of the runs but received little support from rest of the batsmen. Umesh Yadav had a good season with 20 wickets but he too found very little support from rest of the bowlers.

Virat Kohli, as a player and captain, has most of the International titles under his belt. He must be keen on getting his hand on the coveted IPL trophy that has eluded him thus far. He will have India's world cup winning coach, Gary Kirsten, as a mentor in this journey.

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) – IPL Prediction

  • Last Year Result Runners Up
  • Key Players Kane Williamson, Jonny Bairstow, Martin Guptill, Rashid Khan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar
  • Players in Vijay Shankar, Abhishek Sharma, Shahbaz Nadeem, Martin Guptill, Jonny Bairstow
  • Players out Shikhar Dhawan, Sachin Baby, Tanmay Agarwal, Chris Jordan, Carlos Brathwaite, Alex Hales, Bipul Sharma, Syed Mehdi Hasan
  • Final playing 11 Kane Williamson(c), Jonny Bairstow, Martin Guptill, Manish Pandey, Vijay Shankar, Wriddhiman Saha(wk), Rashid Khan, Shahbaz Nadeem, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Khaleel Ahmed, Basil Thampi

Expert Prediction: Betting on SRH can be regarded as your safe bet during the IPL 2019 season. Our prediction is SRH have a good chance f reaching the Final this year!

Right from its inception Sunrisers Hyderabad have been a strong team. In just six appearances Sunrisers Hyderabad have reached playoffs 4 times. They have made it to the finals twice in 2016 and in the last season. SRH have won the trophy in 2016 cutting short RCB’s campaign for the title. With 67% appearances to playoffs, SRH is second only Chennai at (100%). David Warner is the leading run scorer for SRH and Indian pacer Bhuvaneshwar Kumar is the leading wicket-taker.

In the trading window, SRH had to let go of Shikhar Dhawan to Delhi Capitals as he was not happy about his auction price. They released some major impact players such as Sachin Baby, Carlos Brathwaite, and Alex Hales. In all, SRH released 9 players and retained 17. They also acquired three players in their squad in the trading window including Vijay Shankar who is making an impact internationally for India. In the auction, with just INR 9.7 Crore in the kitty, SRH bought back Wridhhiman Saha, who was released earlier in the trading window, in one-fourth of the earlier price. Other purchases were batsmen Martin Guptill and Jonny Bairstow.

In the last IPL season in 2018, the Surnrisers Hyderabad seemed to be cruising to glory. They had topped the table halfway through the league stages and had reached 18 points with 9 wins in the first 11 games which included a patch of six consecutive wins. Nobody seemed to be coming anywhere close to them in the points table. Even as SRH lost their last three league games they still ended up being the top team at the end of the league stage. In the playoffs, they lost to CSK in the first qualifier. In the second qualifier, they defeated KKR to enter the finals against CSK one more time. However, a fourth consecutive loss to CSK in the 2018 IPL season meant SRH, despite being the top team of the tournament, had to be content with being the runners up.

Captain Kane Williamson, who was the leading run scorer in the last season, will be looking to continue his own form and would be keen get his team over the last hurdle this time. SRH have immensely experienced Tom Moody as their coach which they would want to take full advantage of.

The teams that have traditionally done well seem settled whereas the ones looking for consistency in the IPL have sort of rearranged the team setup. This isn't a straightforward IPL though. There are General body elections which may cause match venue shift in some cases and there is also the small matter of World Cup which starts in a fortnight after the IPL, all these things are also to affect the betting on the IPL matches and the IPL predictions. All these factors bettors would need to take into account when placing their IPL 2019 bets!
